here ıs new car brand LAMBORAUDI That was one of Italian supercar brand... Years ago..... Wher ever Audi interrupts it sux Here is the Gallroad and Galyenne SE Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw those pictures like a year ago in Motor Trend. I dont see why everyone things Audi buying Lambo was bad. They cars are still pretty good looking, and selling well. What more can you ask from Audi? those are just concepts dude.
Audi cannot do supercars or very good performanced coupes or salloon cars. Just compare these in performance subject you will understand about audi's performance concept... RS4 vs M3CSL or New M3 S6(new) or RS6 vs M5 vs E55 TT 3.2 vs MZ4 vs Cayman S S8 vs S55 AMG A4 2.0T vs 325 All are behind the rivals so audi sux at performance but good handling but no fun. But audi does quattros abot 3.0tdi or 2.4 or normal saloon cars are good no more special
Audi makes good car, no need to bash them here, it all depends on tastes. Audi's take over of Lamborghini was a bad thing IMO though. The first car to come out of Audi was the Gallardo and IMO it could have been a much better car even though it IS a good car. Lamborghini is losing and will lose even more of what makes it so unique. As Ferrari is making cars that look and perform like there from Heaven , Lamborghini used to do cars that looked and perform like they we're from hell. The harsh nature of the interior, very futuristic/edgy looks, lambo doors, rattling, loudness, etc...This is what made Lamborghini special. Im not saying the Murcielago or the Gallardo are bad cars, but they are at the edge of not being what a Lamborghini should be, and im afraid Lamborghini is showing us recently that they will go the "Audi" way, first with the new concept which I think was blend and not original. The Miura was a GREAT car, not need to make another one like Ford did with the GT...and now they are bringing a new SUV. Lamborghini owners want a Lamborghini, NOT an Audi in disguise or some blend car. Lamborghini owners don't want to see the engine they have in there car to be in a luxury sedan. People who buy Lamborghini buy them for the crazy looks and brutal performance, if they wanted curves and smoothness out of an exotic they would buy a Ferrari, if they wanted a very fast car that is very comfortable and is luxurious, they would buy an Audi.
think you need to stay of the Ferrari board kid What kind of "quality cars"? do they make in Turkey????
since your profile suggests your interests lie with Ferraris, why are you wasting our electrons dissing Audis and Lamborghinis? Climb into your Vogue and go get that Ferrari! Then you can start a(nother thread on how superior Ferraris are to AudiGhinis). At least then you may have some firsthand experience.......
The reason that i started this post is to mention that Audi will not give a higher performance to Lambo. Audi makes good cars but no in the area of high performance cars. In my oppinion Lambo was much specialited car at the days of Diablo. I just make this post with a funny way but i look people have different attitude towards me than i expected. For the expeirenc part of your post. I drove a 996 4S 2 and a half years, I still driving a Porsche Cayenne S and bought a A4 2.0TFSI quattro, and in short time ago i bought a 2005 1800km F430. Dont have much expeirence driving a F-car however i bouhgt it in a short time. But i think I have a good expeirence on VW group cars. In 4s the the car handling is perfect but loosing power in some area while driving ,the AWD system and tiptronic didint good look for me. In cayenne a 340HP big car with a good handling really good handling but again i feel the lack of power , and at last my in my audi even if 200hp turbo car , same again the tiptronic isn same as the porsches and i feel lack of power and get a ECU programme make it much HP. So the first Audi based Lambo car was the Gallardo doesnt it?? The first viewed problems on the gallardo was the transmission and the loosing power on awd system doesnt it?As the complains for the gallardo was the same i complain in Porsche and Audi. And i saw some posts in the Lambo forums about F-cars and get angry about that. If you visit the lambo forums that allan's we site you can see the attitude toward F-car's as example. When i see that ysterday also that is one more reason to start this post. If i broke somebodys heart, I apologize. I just wanted to make a funny discuss
Why do you say that? Lamborghini is there top of the line brand and will still and always be the best of there automotive empire. If you don't believe me take the new R8, they are bringing it out with a detuned engine to make sure it is not faster than the gallardo. Having Audi controlling Lamborghini in this direction doesn't mean no more high performance cars, it means no more "Bull". I think Audi is going in the "Porsche" direction, which is very bad. Just like Porsche, they want to bring out a Fast SUV, have a 2+2 in the future and also a "cheaper" Lamborghini. I like Porsche, but Porsche is Porsche, Lamborghini should be Lamborghini. It doesn't mean they will stop making supercars, but it means that there going in the opposite direction of what used to make Lamborghini such a great and unique brand.
On the other hand, Lamborghini has already had a SUV and 2+2's in the past, and they weren't exactly boring cars
its a double edge sword isnt it. Yes, audi saving lamborghini was great. diversifying to other types of cars and possibly diluting the brand is bad. Everyone says that audi is trying to milk as many models out of lamborghini as it possibly can and that it is wrong. But, lamborghini before audi did the same thing. The LM, espada, jalpa, jarama were all cars that Lamborghini built not as a supercar manufacturer to attempt to generate profit. So, why should it be any different for Audi? If I owned lamborghini, I would do the same thing. Because ultimately, if it boiled down just letting the brand die or diversify to strengthen the company, everyone who owns a company can tell you diluting brand is a far lesser evil than to kill the company. What we should do is to define what really is bad about audi's involvement. I personally feel it is design that has divided enthusiasts. Design has been more subtle and should be outrageous. I am not criticizing the murcie or g as they are great looking cars. However, they lack outrageousness that branded Lamborghini as the ultimate exotic. They are more refined in looks and more like Ferrari of the 80s and 90s. If the design of new lamborghinis become as uninnovative as the proposed miura resurrection, that is when audi will be making grave mistakes with the brand.
I agree with mostly everything you say. BUT, in another way it shows that Lamborghini tried to do the same thing before without huge success. But then, all those models we're done in the "Lamborghini" way of the time. Audi just uses some of its other cars as base and then just changes the looks and other small things. Not only that, but it uses stuff like engines from Lamborghini to put into there other non-lambo cars. Let's not forget that people who buy a Lamborghini buy it for the Awesome Looks and RARITY, not only of the CAR, but the RARITY OF THE BRAND. That is why let's say a Porsche GT2 isn't seen as an "exotic car" or doesn't make you meet several strangers everyday. The porsche gt2 is a GREAT performing car and looks good, but with so many porsches, and porsches for people with normal income, it makes it way less special. Also take a look at the CGT. GREAT car, awesome performances, but it's market value falls really quick and people are mostly interested into it just because it is a "not too expensive Enzo alternative". The people who buy the most expensive cars want exclusivity mostly, if you don't give them that, they will start looking to more exclusive alternative like Pagani which are offering cars that have more "cool" looks and more brutal performance(big price difference here, but you get the picture).
Seb whats up, I see you understand then as to why I sold my Gallardo and went with a 360 and into a F430 soon. I also believe that Porsche should only build the "911" series. I hope everything is going well. later
Hey Luis! Everything is going fine, got some great/cool news, sent you a PM last week, just give me a call you know the number. -Seb
Why not just buy a civic and modify it when you want 500hp? The harshness and loudness of the older lamborghinis is part of what makes them special, and in a much more different way than a kit car...If you never got a ride or got to drive an older lambo, it's hard to understand, but basically it IS simple. Older lambos are pure Supercars, no driving aids, not a lot of sound insulation, rough suspension, etc...they we're made for one purpose, Performance, not for Performance AND Comfort/Ease of Driving like Supercars today. Not that it is bad, but this is part of why those cars are still special today.
Lol. I would like someone with an 02 murcie to see if it's there as well. Unless im wrong didn't Audi buy Lamborghini after the Murcielago was out?
