If anyone is looking--- 2005's: Titanium/Blk 6sp coupe, Red/tan F1 Coupe, and Silverstone/Blk F1 Coupe Black/Blk spider F1 with racing seats and ball polished wheels--like mine coming in 2007. Cars are not moving and I was told they will sell for below asking prices. My friend, Silver Bear on this board, just picked up a '02 red/tan 360 spider F1 for 162.5K (asking was 178K) this afternoon and I was able to check out these cars in person. I still love the black. They also have a Nero Daytona Superamerica with black interior and red inserts in the back. Very hot car. I like the carbon fiber accents on the roof.
its ok, first time i saw that i was like WTF.....ferrari of South Virginia...that cant be right ....anyways....
I was there about 3 weeks ago when several of them were coming in or being put on the floor. I believe they're mostly consigned cars.
Yin, how've you been? I see you finally changed your avatar--glad you did, I was starting to feel bad...you didnt have to post that in such a high profile place!
LOL. Penance should be public, no ? Otherwise, still waiting for my turn to come on a 430 Spider. And still waiting to hear if there's going to be a 430 CS (interesting scenarios that might be played out on a 430 CS with 430 airbag issues and possible model run end in 2008).
I think i've hijacked this thread horribly, oh well...anyway...it seems everyone is waiting on the sidelines to see what happens--apparently there was a strike at the Ferrari Factory last week (on top of everything else--all the workers walked off) By Monday everything should be resuming as normal. If they dont get that extention, VERY interesting things will happen. If so, I highly doubt there will be a "stradale" variant because Ferrari will be very eager to get that new car to our shores as FAST as possible...we'll have to wait and see I guess.
Grigio Silverstone/Blk Coupe $249,000 F1, Elect Daytona, Red/Beige F1 Coupe $249,000 Red Caliper,Sheild, Standard Seats Red/Black F1 Spider $292,000 290 mi, Elect Daytona, Red Caliper, Sheilds The coupes appear to be at least $50,000 over MSRP The spider appears to be around $80,000 over MSRP The options I listed were noted from the photographs and may not be complete.
Nothing like a quality car when the workers are unhappy. Some new F-car owner is going to have a real lemon on his hands. Turn the radio on and the windows will go down.
My impression (basically I was told) is that the coupes would sell if an offer came in with a 23**** as the first two digits. They were quoting 290K for the spider (eventhough it is 295K on the web and 300K per store manager). Only the spider and red coupe have shields.
...a little friend in Maranello tells me that the replacement for the 430 has been approved for priority developement and production. Expect late 07, early 08. Radical new design. Supposedly the decision was spurred by intel from Lambo that they are planning a F-car 'Killer' to replace the Gallardo during the same time frame. Interesting times....
