3 of the 4 need a boob job. Only the one on the left looks like she has lungs. The other 3 have mosquito bites. I'd still take em though
voted "i enjoy it" i usually pass out within a few minutes of sitting down, and wake up about half way through the flight and just read for the rest of it
I voted no, because I was in a plane crash in 97. Have only been on one ever since, still to terrified, wont go back on.
No, my wife I and went to Costa Rica in 97 commerical flight. After 4 days there we heard about a exclusive resort. We paid to take a plane to the island and so another 5 days their on the beach. We board a little 6 seater plane. Everything was fine, weather clear, only turbulence was getting out of the mountains of Coast Rica. As we approach landing on this beach, I notice the runway....looks alittle short, but what the hell do I know. Sure a **** smells, we miss the pavement (I would say 10-15 feet short) and the wheels bang the gravel sand....we do a few little 360s, clip a few trees, kick up some dust, little fire going on end up 3/4 sideways. Kick the crappy door open, jump the 12 feet, sprain the angle(dont care) run like hell. 2 minutes go by and then I realize I left my wife behind, run back, she jumps lands on my flipping head (110lbs girls are not light I dont care what anybody says) and run about 40-60 yards away, while the little costa ricans in there red jump suits with fire extinguishers run towards the plan trying to put out some flames.......HERES THE KICKER !! One of these 3 guys in the red jump suit trying to put out the flame...had a CIG in his MOUTH at the time. Good times !!
Geez Rick, that's awful. Makes for a helluva story though. Glad to hear you and the missus made it through relatively unscathed.
It was ruff, I have only been to take the kids to Disney, and Hawaii recently. I was knocked out the last two flights. Im not as bad as before, but its still hard. But I will never get back on a small plane again. Ill walk.
So, it's not an issue with flying you have....... It's an issue with landing. Did they ever do a drug test on the pilot? How do you miss the runway?
haha yha landing is the best part of the flight. But apparently your landing wasnt as good as it could have been. My instructor gives me grief if im 5 feet from centerline on a runway thats 200ft wide.
Arent they one in the same ? A flight is not complete until, takeoff and landing are completed correctly. As for the pilot, we got comp for the 5days we were there, tried serval times to touch base with the hotel when we got back, but once we got home it was like it never happened. So I do not know what happened ot the pilot except for he was not the one flying us off the island later.
I fly all the time and HATE it. I have a new trick though....... 1 1/2 Zanax followed by 2 or 3 beers. Exactly 6 hrs of down time, just enough to get over the pond. My wife gets a little bored though, nobody to talk to. 0.02
