thats not what I ment, but sure...why not :p
I ment they're not like 6 year olds....if they're dumb enough for some assinine reason to be anywhere near the street let alone get hit, well then its weeding them out. Hell I didnt even play in the street :D

and Im just bored and having fun, Im sure we'll do nothing, he'll pay the fine and Im still gonna get bent over on my tickets. So what are ya gonna do eh? Just have'n some fun with it. You guys are getting too serious, but it is entertaining :)

This is a very serious question, and be honest.

    Are you mentally handicapped?

Dan, we had a high school student killed here in our area last week. She was crossing the street to catch the bus, and stepped right in front of a van. Was it a dumb thing to do? Yes. But she's really dead, not pretend dead, not video game dead. Her family, friends, fellow students are all devastated. The driver of the van has to live with the fact that he caused her death, whether he was at fault at not.

"Weeding them out". Not funny when it's real.

Im in the burbs of Indy, theres no reason whatsoever to be anywhere near the street unless you're cutting class. Theres plenty of grass and fencing to stop the crazies.

Just have to look out for them before and after school when they're driving. I speed a lil, they crash into people....alot.

Dan, I think you may have misspelled your Polish name... ;-)

If your friend is thinking about something like this he is better off trying to prove not that the stop sign wasn't there, but that it wasn't supposed to be there to begin with. Many stop signs are installed in places where they are not needed and merely serve the purpose of getting someone caught for not stopping and hence revenue to the town.

If your friend is serious about fighting this battle a better idea would be to check the DOT regulations in your state for installing a stop sign in your county. You may very well find a glaring loophole, where the provisions were not properly followed by the town, proving the stop sign illegal. The preventative measure I would suggest would be to have him carry a blonde wig in his car.

    haha, shhhh ;)

I think the sign's plenty legal where it is, its just over kill in my opinion.
Plus he's lazy, and the yeild or school sign might work, but whatever. On my last ticket here it gives you 60 days to pay or fight, then its another 3 months till court, so who knows what he'll do by then (like Aug/Sept)...then throw in a continuence lol

    No, really, it's misspelled.. ;)

Was hoping my post would rather dissuade you/friend from switching, demolishing, or removing a sign, read: illegal and dangerous.

Continuence may work possibly.. (if he's not too lazy to notify of one that is..)

    haha, small world
coincidently I was to be in Chicago for court yesterday too, but I didnt end up making it all the way there :(

    Am I screwed now??
I tried to call the court but the wait went from 15 to 30 to 45 minutes over a 3 minute time frame so I gave up.

Am I gonna get arrested next time I get pulled over in Indy since I didnt make it to court in Illinois??
