"It's built some of the world's finest supercars - but now Lamborghini is going back to its roots with an astonishing 4x4, exclusively revealed in this week's mag.

The Italian giant is no stranger to all-wheel-drive vehicles - company founder Ferrucio Lamborghini started out building tractors - but its next new model won't necessarily be a racer. Enthusiasts of the brand might have expected a four-seater to rival the Ferrari Scaglietti, but it looks as though a luxury off-roader is on track instead.

Lambo president Stephan Winklemann told Auto Express: "There is more need for an SUV, and parent firm Audi produces the Q7, so for me, this is a better option than a 2+2. I would like to do more, but we are a small company and can't build all the models we want at once."

I think this pic form the February issue of Motor Trend seems the most accurate(see bottom of article). It is supposedly based on the upcoming Audi crossover Q5. http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lpeslm23ta.jpg

Here are some more pics I have seen over the web. But the ones from autobild are most likely not accurate because they gave this pic for the new miura(which is not close ta all): http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/1806/lamborghinilm00xautobild6fh.jpg

It better be as beastly as the LM002 or whatever. I don't mind Lambo making an SUV so much because they started with that history.

    I'm crying right now...

The 'current' existing Lamborghini truck is much better looking than all of these concepts.

Whats the big deal about spinners? I've seen music videos (if you consider rap music) with Lambos with spinners.
But anyways I hope they make it better looking. Wonder what there going to name it.

Definitely not, it was beastly. Which is the point, if it looks like the silver car pictured above and gets confused for a Volvo SUV in parking lots this will be a disaster. A Lambo truck should scare women and children. I actually don't mind the red car, it looks like a Dakar vehicle, like the Mitsubishi Evo Pajero.

They should think 4x4 more than SUV.
