As Dingo stated, all black roofs plus the colours were limited to the following colours, Grigio Altair - Silver Grigio Proteus - charcoal/dark grey (i believe a new colour to lambo) Giallo Midas - MHH's colour Arancio Borealis - Bright Orange (new orange, I have seen this in the flesh amuch more vibrant orange to the classic Atlas version). Verde Ithaca - Lime Green Balloon White - Again a new colour, Pearl White No01/250 is this colour This colour looks very HOT!!! and Im not a fan of white cars usually. If Im not mistaken the interior is also done in a SE only fashion and colour coded to the outside. Check out the lambo section of this board, another member has the white SE.
yep, i can only mirror what Mark has stated, the old Gallardo was a bloody awesome car, this thing... is perfection! the sound is phenomenal when the skinny pedal is stomped on, yet burbling around at sub 3k rpm it's very sedate, in fact, the noise of the radiators is MUCH louder from the outside when the car is just going by. for me the sound a car makes is a pretty big part of it's appeal, and in this case... wow! not only does it scream like an F1 in the upper ranges, that downshift is freaking awesome! i loved the old downshift blip, but when he (usually unnecessarily ) drops down a cog this thing just snorts like a 2 tonne bull inches away from your face, the only thing that could top this effect off is if you could make it purge steam from the intakes on downshifts, that would be phenomenal.... i can't comment too much on the performance side as we didn't do anything much in it apart from cruise and pose, but the (much needed) lower gearing in the first two cogs was noticable, and i suspect the combination of that and the far more aggressive sound will have a much greater impact on the feel of the drive than a paltry 20hp gain. though i've heard the suspension has had a lot of tweaking also, can't wait to feel that in effect. Mark was also quite impressed with the steering feel, says it is much quicker and feels more direct. i also LOVED the suede F1 style (flat-bottom) steering wheel, yum! the looks... well, we all know how gorgeous a Gallardo is, this thing though is just magic to look at, no such thing as an ugly angle, even the arse is sexy! the two-tone is just brilliant, and though i didn't notice it in the flesh, looking at the pics it does appear that the mirrors stick out too much, however i'll have to see if that's the case when it's in front of me. the windows were difficult to control though.... because it was drizzling i'd keep putting the window down a bit until water gushed inside then i'd put it up, but controlling that dam lever is frustrating as it wants the window to be full-up or full-down. also still yet to figger out what the deal with opening doors are... it seems to semi-lock after a while, Mark thought it might be an anti-jack measure, whereby what happens is when you first go to open the door, it seems as though it's locked, you try again and it pops open... this happens inside and out. the interior is a HUGE leap forward from the old G. the old G was like a dark space shuttle inside, everything was a bland executive grey with lots and lots of red flashy things, the SE is beautiful to look and at feel all over, every inch has masterful detailing and overall is far more satisfying to sit in and enjoy, which really is a pretty major thing. oh, and this one has a rear camera mounted on the spoiler, when you're driving it's usually a matter of "i know where i've been", but it's cool nonetheless. so, cruising toward the end of the freeway back into the 60 zone Mark looks in the mirror and remarks that the spoiler is active (pops up at 130kph and down at 80kph) like the old G, then it hits us... what the hell happens to the camera??!!/? so next time we'll have to see if it spots for high-speed koalas or something... sadly Les couldn't make it in his NSX, couldn't start his car haha... but it was a great afternoon out, and i can't wait to check out how it is in fair weather. sorry, no pics yet, i'm borrowing my werk camera and it's not compatible with my home pooter so it'll have to wait till tomorrow night before i can upload a couple dozen pics and a short jerky vid.
Thanks again for the comments Ash, makes me feel like I was there! While we wait for your pics here are two more that mhh emailed me..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hey isn't this abuse of the Ferrari board (NOT!)? Those wheels look sweet against the yellow, and the interior looks great with the highlights.
I got the front bumper, the entire bonnet and front guards and the mirrors covered with film.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations, mhh. Looks really beautiful - especially in yellow. Thanks for the images. Wishing you lots of enjoyment, Pete
