I haven't even put the cover on in weeks now. With the "modifications" I have been doing over the winter, I felt it was doing mroe harm than good taking it on and off.

Plus, I have been taking her for a spin once a week since the snow has been gone to keep her "wet".

Not to mention, I will be taking it in for a clay bar and FULL detail in the 1st week of April anyway to get it ready for the new season. And that's just around the corner right??!!

    ;-)

Forgive my inquiry into your own biz, but since I know of your location, do you have a particular route to have your car stretch its legs? I could not tell if it is an advantage or not to be in the city. Sure you get the spotted props, but are those roads willing to let you fly through all the gears? Are the bumpy, pot hole filled in underground routes very forgiving on a 20+ year old car? I was fortunate while living in the apartment with the Maranello, I90 was just 2 turns away and on an early Sunday morning, always empty. Felt like Florida where the 75 mph speed limit and flat, flat, flat roads seem to stretch on forever. But to drive it in the city, not for me. That's what 2 lane hogging Durangos and H2s are for amongst other seasonal and professional theme travels.

LSD is good enough to warm everything up and keep it lubricated etc. Once up and down and all the temps are withing range. No need to go flat out in top gear.

I was seriously thinking of going after receiving an invite from the factory site, but after reading Rocket Boy's post, I'm not much into crowds either and I doubt I could break away from the office during a weekday.
As for the new F-cars, I'm sure we will see them soon enough at local events, so no sweat.

I am registered. Do they just SEND you an invite??

I couldn't find an area where I could request one. And I am going and would love to go into the ol' VIP area and get my free soda or whatever other free stuff they want to give me.

I think they actually do it by region. So with your WI address you might not get an invitation just as we didn't get one for Detroit.

I don't believe that is the case, I live in Hoffman Estates and got an invite for Detroit but not Chicago (odd). I e-mailed them off of the owners site and they gave me an e-mail address to someone at FNA who within an hour sent me an invite.

We went today and there were Not any Lambo's there at all. They are usually by the Shell area. But, we went by there and nothing.

After the Auto Show. I had to drive out to St. Charles to pick up my Son for the weekend. I took North Av. on the way back to my house with the intention of stopping by Fox valley Motors to see what the scoop is. But, we drove by there around 7:45PM and they were Closed already.

No Lambos or Lotus this year. The Shell display is showing off custom SEMA stuff instead.

Eventhough I feel Lamborghini should have assisted Fox Valley in getting a spot at the Autoshow.. I understand that Lamborghini is extremely busy getting ready for Geneva.

I've heard a RWD Gallardo and another Concept is being shown this year. Pretty exciting, only 2 weeks away.

Funny you guys mention Lambo. After the show I went to pick up my new Ferrari seats and the guy at the upholstery shop asked me whether I saw the Lambos at the show. Had to disappoint him.

No Bugattis either. But VW did have 2 cool cars: One race car from the Dakar Rally and that AI car that drives itself into the nearest rock.
