I used Concours Automotive in La Habra. He is just past Boyd Coddingtons place on Lambert. Phone is 562-6974188. Call after 10:00am. He is good and careful with the car. He just did my 30k not long ago.

You can tell him Leonard Knight recommended that you call him. Probably won't charge you more for that.

I usually don't have a problem getting my car in within a week or so and he was finished in about 3-4 weeks. I did not put any push on it as I was out of the country on business. He is very good at working around your needs though.

    Good luck.

I found myself in the same situation as you last year. Fortunately, I waited out and was able to get in after a while. Haven't regretted that decision at all.

If you want a consultative relationship for your car, use Eugenio.

I would recommend Concours! Joe did my major with the valve guide update on my F355 last summer. Just completed some minor work related to new issues on both the TR and F355 (Both cars in and out in 3-4 days).

If you call in advance with a description of what is needed or wrong he can set-up an appointment and give an approximate time for completion.

I agree with Bryan. I waited a bit longer than I wanted at first, but
the results were well worth the wait. Would never take my car anywhere else.

Ditto That! Wait it out, it will be worth it. There is no one who takes the profession as seriously as Eugenio. You will just have to expierience it for yourself.

Take a look at the website, it will show you the amount of detail he puts into his work.

    Regards, Jerry

Or why not join that ranks of the Ferrari elite. The men that do their own work. :D I have done the engine out on my 348 as have many other guys so why not you?

If you can fix something as complicated as a watch you can fix your Ferrari. All you have to do is get over the fear.

    You are probably 100% correct.
The time is another thing I am running short with. Got the wife, baby, yada yada, and only one day off/wk.

If I spent the one day in the garage, I will be sleeping there :)

that's the thing i like about Eugenio

he himself does all the work (or his cousin who helps 1 day per week)

so you know who's touching your car

    imho

I wish he would have worked on my flat 12 but when I called Eugenio he said he has never done major on 512tr, engine that needs to come out from the top instead of the bottom like regular trs. It seems like he did not want to touch the car if he knew he wasn't gonna do excellent job on it. It showed professionalism to me. If I ever get a v8 I know who I'll take it to.

    Chris,

Although I have never worked on a Ferrari, my dad left me an awesome set of tools and I happen to have some free time on my hands, let me try. After I've totally screwed it up then you can take it to Eugenio :)
