My 4 year old has it. Spend the better part of yesterday in the hospital with a IV. It's VERY bad this year.

 

Geez Matt, sorry to hear. that's just horrible & should never happen to a child.

Thanks guys. It's been stressful the few days. He got it Sat and it was a quick downhill slide. He is feeling better day. He's lost a lot of weight though.

 

I'm just getting over it. It sucked.

 

It was really bad about 2 months ago here in Utah, but the epedemic has subsided...

 

I had it...or should I say It had me! I was down and out for a day and running at about 60% for the following week. Today marks the 11th day with a very sore throat.

Matt. Tell "B" that "E" said to get better!

Matt, sorry to hear about your child. I know from experience it's no fun to have your child in a hospital. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

 

No flu, but the allergies have been kicking my a$$ for the last few months. I have to drive 30 min out of town to breathe!

Dude...you have to chew big city air before inhaling it.

 

The Dr's waste no time when little ones are sick. They rush the lab work and everything. We all knew it was the flu. Can't treat that. It was his rapid dehydration that was alarming and cause the most concern.

I don't but a lot of my coworkers have it. One woman went to the hospital with a temperature of 104. Also, I agree with taking 4 Advils...I do that everytime I have a migraine/toothache, etc. Two never seems to work...but 4 takes the pain right away.

Matt, I hope your child gets better soon..sorry to hear he has the flu.

A couple of my employees are out currently. One of them is in the hospital with a bad case of pneumonia. Hopefully I don't have the same.
