Who's got the flu?

No flu this year, but last year I had a fever of 104.5 F, and I really should have gone to the hospital. My allergy/asthma doc told me that a fever of 103+ with a cough will be taken quite seriously regardless of your age and other medical issues.
Although most people with the flu will be quite contagious before they feel ill, I get exceedingly angry when people come to work hacking and sneezing with a fever. You are not being a work hero when you do this; you are endangering the health of your coworkers and their families, and the productivity of your organization will suffer more when others get sick. It's the 21st century, and there are plenty of ways to do most kinds of work from home if necessary.
Rant finished. I need to change the tissue boxes on my feet . . .

 

You know, like something's bad in your stomach feeling and you wanna hurl...but its yellow instead!

Matt, hope the little guy gets better really quickly! Is he in the hospital??

 

Hey Matt, I hope your child is feeling better. My four year old daughter was pretty sick and I was afraid she was going to end up in the hospital as she did one year ago. Now I have this damn flu. Wish all you guys the best.

 

He's home now. He was there early Tueday morning until mid Tuesday morning. He's doing better. Thanks guys.
