    I finally took my car back in and they figured out that it was the Throttle Body based on my complaint that the car didn't sound right to me. So, the tech cleaned all of them out and now the car sounds and runs great and the check engine light went away. They took care of it as part of my recent 3 year service with no extra charges so I am a very happy customer, especially because I felt that they really listened to my concerns and were very responsive and professional and got the car back to me in one day :D

    As long as the car runs right and your happy all is good, and that is what really matters.

    But your description of the problem doesn't sound like a throttle body issue.

    Agreed, I believe any throttle body issue that would cause an unusual noise would result in a check engine light, unless they forgot to install the air filters....

    but at least they took care of it promptly and you are satisfied with the result....
