His antics have been annoying me for a long time now. Everytime I see him on TV now he has this ridiculous attitude & cockiness about him, especially at the Grammys the other night, saying things like "I'm gonna be real pissed off if I don't win album of the year" (which of course U2 won).

"Changed Music"???? Odd, I have not yet heard of the key of 'H'. I play guitar....yeah, still no 'H' chord. Kanye hasn't done $@#$ for music that Mozart didn't already do years ago. And if Mozart didn't do it...perhaps Bach, Berlioz, Wagner, Bizet...the list goes on. Poor Kanye.

If the guy had any balls, he would mention he should be a character in the Koran and not the Bible. At least he's smart enough in his publicity ploy not to get the Muslim fundamentalists on his a$$...

He's Fugly. I don't think another mother can do worse, no matter who/what she mates with.

Maybe if we took the extraordinarily huge mass of his cheeks and added it to his head.

As much as Kanye is an ******, his musical production/composition is genius. And as much as I hate his attitude, he is gonna be super-huge. Quite easily the next puff daddy, or should I say, "Diddy".

All this religious stuff means very little to me either way, but I really got fed up with this guy after the post-Katrina comments. Noone who thinks that way has anything to say that's worth spending time and money to listen to.

It's not true that for a celeb, there's no such thing as bad publicity. When you say something that pisses people off enough that they won't buy your crap, that's bad publicity.

Nah, I would guess that over 90% of people who are familiar with him are annoyed by him. Nobody likes a POS who behaves like that. And it seems to only be getting worse, so I can imagine that more & more people will eventually feel that way about him. Somebody close to him needs to give him a clue of how much like a jackass he sounds like everytime he opens his mug.

Awsome!! Another pretentious prick who bathes in champagne. Puffy has become a parody of himself. Axl Rose was famous because he is amazingly talented and has incredible personality. Axl Rose is STILL famous because he disappeared right at the breaking point. Had he stuck around everyone would have grown sick of him. Instead he went private. Which now of course leads to the speculation and mystery that surrounds him. But no annoying "Rock Star" antics. For the most part people remember all of the good but none of the bad. "Artists" like Puff Daddy and Kanye don't know when enough is enough though. They will continue to shove their image in everyone's face until the world grows tired of them.

Kanye West will have to wait in a long line if the only criteria to be written in to the Bible is the ability to write a catchy tune. A long, long line.

Puffy is no longer a performer/artist. He runs record labels / fashion labels / endorsements / other business' that pull in hundreds of millions each year. Will he still be succesful when people get 'sick' of him? Yes. Is he clever? You betcha.

Without being too paradoxical, we are talking about pop music afterall, but being popular has never been a requisite for success. Infact quite the contrary. Being clever though, has always been the bottomline for success. This is why Madonna is still in business 20 years later when all her peers are left behind. Popularity can only get you so far. The rest is talent/brains.

Totally agree with the assessment of Axl Rose. He was a highly intelligent person with a touch of psychosis. Also, an extremely original and talented musician. He and Gn'R did pull quite a few rock star antics, but they could afford to, their musical quality justified it.

Another artiste who "left" (well, actually this guy offed himself) at the "breaking point" was Kurt Cobain. Plenty of mystery and interest surrounding him too. With him, Nirvana died. Foo Fighters ? Foo who ? I pity the Foo ! :D

I dig some of his stuff- production is good, the rhymes are catchy and he doesn't revolve around the 'gangsta' life.

Part of me wants to say "who does he think he is?" but then I remember what my opinion of the bible actually is.. if he wants to be in it, it won't change the validity of that book in my eyes. Dr. Seuss is more relevant.

I shall. And with the 'H' chord I will change music forever. Will that get me into the Bible?

There is no such thing as bad publicity. That is unless it becomes cumulative.
