    I am on the verge of getting a 94 348 spider. red/Tan.
Currently has all service records and has 32k miles.
Is 32k too many miles? THey want 63k for the car.
    Any input would be appreciated

Far faaar too many, heaven forbid the last owners should have driven it!

Seriously, I have done 13k in mine in the last 11 months including 2 trips to mainland Europe. I was talking to Karl Verdi (well respected inde and sponsor on F.chat) and he was telling me about a problem he had fitting the stamps onto the service book.... mainly because the 348 in question had done 140,000 miles.

    Respect!

Look after them and the cars will eat the miles. Obviously the price should be more attractive than if it only had 18k miles but mechanically, go for it.

I think you should sell those wheels and buy a new set....
And I will take those off your hands :)

Please give me specs on those wheels...
    Brand and sizes..

    LOOKS FANTASTIC!

Wonderful, reliable car - what's all this guff about the early ones!

Was only going to keep it 12 months but how can you sell a life-changing experience.

Thanks. I do love those wheels. The company is located in Miami. It is called Modular performance Wheels. I don't remember the sizes off hand. They are 18" and I think 7 1/2 wide front and 10" rear. Spacing is tricky. You have to make sure the front wheels are perfectly centered.

The last 3 cars pictured are all great examples of the 348. The interior of VTC's car is immaculate. And like the others said Eric, your spider color is awesome! I bet the other locals in Australia really look twice when they see a 348 going down the road.

    Dave:

    Great idea!

    I recently purchased the same car, # 17/100, 1992 348 TS Speciale, Red/Black, 32,000 kms, with 360 wheels.
As soon as I get it, will post information and pictures. (Part of purchase deal was belts, clutch, etc. - purchased from my mechanic, so he is taking his time, unfortunately)
I noticed on the rear, the emblem says 348TS. Is it supposed to have the "Speciale" on it anywhere? Wondering what the exterior emblem should be. The interior has a plate on dash, but nothing on the exterior.

    Thanks,

    Ilio
