I heard that at a Princeton cocktail party but I didn't realize you were the one and the same Chris Y. I heard that those royalty checks are HUGE.
Hey, it allowed me to buy all the traffic lights in the county, didn't it? You wouldn't believe how well FedEx and UPS line my pockets..
Bryan: First thing, work on your command of the written English language, it needs some help. It is important to be able to communicate accurately and intelligently, slang has no place in our economy except with rappers. Second, keep your goal in focus and work your ass off. I would be willing to bet my lunch that the majority of the people who own nice cars like these worked hard and sacrificed to be successful. My dad put me to work when I turned 12 and now I am 63 and still working. Third, keep in mind that it is important to take a career course or direction that is marketable everywhere. People who are successful are people who have developed skills and knowledge that other people are willing to pay for. Knowledge is power. That is why doctors, lawyers, scientists, inventors, engineers, etc are paid well; they have skills and knowledge that we as a society are willing to pay big time for. Best of luck.
I invented the sound a carburator makes. It was a lifelong study that began at age two making sounds that drove my mom nuts.
Oh, I didn't realize it was a serious question... What I would do it "get rich". That's the easiest route. Just think about it; once you're rich, you can get a ferrari, a boat, a plane... heck, you can buy your own island...
Sorry i didn't realize my typing was that bad. And i was not here to offend anybody but my intersts are cars and that's honestly about it. I mean i race cars also but i don't see that getting me anywhere soon. I just do D.E's in my dads T-1 Z06. So i was just curious. And i dont mean i want to know the easiest route to make money but i was just wondering if any of your routes intersted me.
Bryan, Work hard at your profession, always push for perfection, live within your means and save, pay off credit cards in full each month. There is no magic in owning a ferrari it's like any other impractical toy, boats, RV's etc. What I do for a living, rebuild fuel distributors. If your in south AL contact me. Larry
Become handy with tools/cars. Your first Ferrari will likey be a 308/Mondial/308 GT4 type and since you'll be young and poor you'll need to do lots of your own work. Case in point: a 412 on eBay now show a bill for about $800 for spark plugs, brake shoes and oil change. $250 was parts, the rest labor. Anyone could have done that themselves and saved $550 in labor. And saved on the parts as well for that matter. Ken
Yup, just work hard. Push for perfection. That's what Enzo Ferrari did. He pushed the envelope to built the perfect street car (and he did.) It dosen't matter what you do. With any job you can succeed. Hell, even at McDonalds you can work your way up to maybe a district manager? Either way, try to work better with your brain than your hands.
Maybe its just me, but this is a question that I've never thought of asking. The way I see it, pretty much everyone knows what jobs create a high return. Perhaps I shouldn't assume people know what jobs pay high, but as you grow up don't you kind of pick up on which career paths are more likely to make you financially well off? Mark
I've thought of this question, but I never thought to post it because it is impolite. It is just like how some people are taught that when you first meet someone, you never talk about politics or religion because you might offend them. Also, people come to this website to relax, and I'm sure the last thing they want to do is think about work.
I think that's true, or at least in my case. I was always good with numbers and wanted to become a math teacher. I realized that this was not the fastest way to attain goals I had, so I took a different path.
Don't discount ditch-digging. Always needed and never peformed on the internet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
When did we get Illuminati? Damn. Anyone have the URL to a down-to-earth Ferrari board? My second cousin made a stinking fortune in construction, and that's not getting outsourced to India anytime soon. He has an 8-car garage under his pool (really) full of nice stuff.
