I went to get a tattoo removed, OMG does it hurt! Took about 2 minutes, of burning pain! I have two more appointments that I fear! Cost about $45 for the tattoo years ago, and $500 to remove! The best advice, don't ever get one!
I predict the tattoo removal business will be huge in the years ahead. Somebody should start a tattoo removal franchise business... you'll make a fortune.
No kidding. I hardly meet any girls in the 18-25 year old range that don't have a tattoo of some sort. Guess it doesn't occur to girls that the target tat on the lower back is going to look pretty retarded i10 years later at the company beach party.
Leslie, why remove it...? Why not have something else put over it...? Tattoos are like social hieroglyphics - people can read them and get an understanding for the person/people around them without talking to them... Tattoos can initiate a conversation or keep it from ever happening... Tattoos are designer scars that tell stories...
These days, that's a damned astute observation, Scott! I admit to being old and out-of-touch, but I saw a girl of perhaps 25 at the store the other day with lots of exposed skin and tattoos. She was lovely, quite hot actually, but I found the tattoos a turn-off. Yet it seems like all the young girls have multiple body art. BTW, Yup, the tattoo removal industry will be large in the future, but I bet it will be done surgically as opposed to the current 'dermabrasion. Leslie, I hope your other 'treatments' are less painful!
i have 30 tatts and would never ever think of getting any removed. i all way tell my friends dont pick some thing off the board. get on that means some thing to you.
The tattoo on my arm was a cross, an ugly cross. When I had it done a long time ago, it was supposed to be reference to Blue Oyster Cult (yes, I am dating myself) but it just looked like a cross. I hated it about a week after I got it. I do have others, one on my ankle that I got about 10 years ago with some friends, and we all have the same tattoo, and I have a rose in my ear. The cross had to go. Leslie
reminds me of my horrible tattoo experience back in the 80s. I'll never forget that. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Geez, it was barely healed before you started hating it... I bet there's an interesting story behind the whole thing... Quartermaster, LOL...! Frefan, you can cover that up with a prancing horse... A really, really big prancing horse...
Most girls I encounter also seem to have at least one tattoo. I was at a fraternity lingerie party a few weeks back and remember remarking how many of the freshmen girls were loaded with lower back, shoulder and ankle tattoos. These are girls that are 17-18. Crazy. I am all for tattooing if it is something that means something to you, but so many of the people that do things just because it looks cool. Ow well.
