    hi people, first i want to introduce myself, my name is micha, i am 25 years old and i come from the netherlands (europe) and i have an 308 gtb from 1977 (USA). it's a beautiful car, but he has some ugly rust, under the right door a very big spot, rear hood underneath the FERRARI logo. so i want to get the car stripped and would give it a new paintjob en restaurate it also from the inside. if you have some tips and trics for, please, EVERYTHING IS WELCOM!!! are there also some books available??

    good luck. take your time. do everything the correct way. don't buy cheap tools. if you don't know the answer, ask. do your research. perserverance furthers.

    When I got my 79 308 I started to work on it with no knowledge of Ferraris whatsoever just some mechanical ability (hobby). This Chat line is invaluable for info and help but first get used to the search section and check there for answers. Parts dealers can be helpful. Look at Ebay for Ferrari items such as parts, books, CV's and other stuff. The workshop manual will be the 308 GT4..I don't think there is one for your car. Best advise is to be patient and enjoy your Fcar.
