Well the Adelaide boys weren't the only ones who went for a little drive on Sunday, although we did it in the arvo instead.

I think 9-10 cars attended in total, with quite a few FChatters among those (Millard, AndrewWA, Looney, Pete, grantj and myself).....a nice day capped off with dinner overlooking the city skyline.

I think Looney fell in love all over again (with the 355)....all it needed was a Challenge grille. :)

Thanks to Andrew for allowing me to occupy his passenger seat during the run, and to John for giving me a lift home after dinner.

A few photos.....not all red either.

I have to say i think most peoples cars were actually nicely detailed on the day anyway, especially that 355 it looked real slick in person.

I popped into Barbagallo's to check out the 355 they have for sale there, and it is a real let down after seeing such a nice clean example.

unfortunately not. :( There are only a couple of Lambo owners who ever go on the runs (Diablo, Countach and 40th Ann Murci) but its rare. I don't think the Porkers are welcome actually.....

only 2 lambos come to play so far, though we've had interest from at least 2 others and goober's should be out to play in a month or two hopefully...

    Great pix, Dingo.

It's not fair - you've got a better array of cars, much better photography (including shots on the move), and fancy borders on the pics. The light looks better too (its hard shooting at dawn, damn it). :D

Great work Dingo, as good, if not better than any of the professional photographers at track days.

I used to love going on cruze's and just flogging the balls off my car, but as im getting older, i enjoy a more lesurely pace (still brisk however), purely because I value my license too much to loose it.

    I think i need a radar detector.

do they still work? surely with laser having such a fine beam when your detector goes if all it does it tell you you've just been hit!

Thanks for the compliments guys. :)

I have thought the same thing (since laser is line-of-sight), the only thing I can think of is that when the laser beam bounces off cars ahead of you then your detector will pick it up....

that is exactly right, it does you no good if theres no one else around, however as long as theres someone ahead of you, your OK.
