Germany?!?!?! sure you dont mean Italy??? Here's a couple of clips, aftermath... http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-022106crash_lat,0,3727466.story?coll=la-home-headlines
FC is slow as heck right now. A bunch of new users registering to see the pics. First time ever my flood alarm was set off, but at least we know it works. Techs are double checking everything to make sure just traffic from this story and not something else. We've had up to 1,000 users on at a time this afternoon.
Doesn't bother me, I just thought it was pretty funny that I'd turn up my own pics when I started looking on other boards for info. I guess we're ahead of the game.
Very easily could have been removed. Althought I am not a huge ferrari buff as alot of you are, I dont think I have come across another Enzo with wheels like the two examples. -Markus-
The Malibu Sheriff has always been hot on speeding, especially on PCH. I have been seeing too many accidents on PCH/Malibu area lately. This past Sunday afternoon on the hill before Pepperdine, a bicyclist was hit by a car. He didnt look too good at all.
FWIW It was a Sunbeam Tiger. Did they ever find out who's fault it was? I was on the run with Shelby guys when it happened. Info on who crossed the yellow line was sketchy. Cyrus
It says they couldnt find a registration for it and that it is probably from a foreign country. So maybe it is the Liebels...
Does anyone who lives near the crash wanna go run over there and pick me up a piece of scrap metal and send it to me?
lol....I've already gotten kicked off today a bunch, getting an error message when I hit refresh that the site is too busy!
anytime a sports car crashes the 5-O autmaticly respond with the knee jerk reaction of it being a street race.....especially in Kalifornia
Things like this make me feel sick. People don't deserve that sort of a car if thats what they are going to do with it. I hope that the driver gets fined or put in prison for driving over the limit, and lying to the police.
DUI is hard to prove after someone left the scene of an accident. Goes into the circumstancial evidence area and with the attourney an Enzo driver could hire it will be even tougher. Even if the passenger was indeed the driver they are going to have a good fight on their hands in court! This sounds pathetic, LOL but I saw an episode of cops where a guy crashes into a ditch and then goes to a bar to "call" the police. Comes back to the scene obviously over the limit and they did not arrest him for DUI. Said they could never prove it. 6 AM, after partying all night "allegedly" sounds like more than just alcohol to me.
