Some guy from Malibu will be asking this question tomorrow. Tonite he totaled his Enzo at over 200 mph on Pacific Coast Highway racing a Mercedes CLR.

The car was virtually split into three parts, the front, the rear and the engine nearly 200 hundred yards away. Apparently, he hit a power pole at top speed.

He also tested at .09 alcohol content, .01 over the legal amount, and claimed he wasn't driving the car at the time. He said it was a German fellow driving the car who he doesn't know and also ran away after the crash.

That's his story and he's sticking to it!

Easy, pick up all the bits and send them all back to italy,

I'm sure the tub will be repaired and the car back on the road within a year!

As somebody has already mentioned there are a complete set of external panels for sale at the moment......

Would love to see an insurance company authorising the use of secondhand parts on an Enzo (yes Jim if your reading this I know your car wasn't used before it went back to Italy, so their not really used parts!)

    Watch the auctions for:

Pontiac Fiero replica -- built on an Enzo donor.

(Keep those pesky SLRs from racing you into a phone pole.)

... Wait: This just in: The driver wasn't German, he was British!
The Enzo's "black box" was found, revealing the last cockpit conversation:
"Hey! Wanna see my Lady Di impersonation?" <erk>

(Doctor, can you describe Multiple Personality Driver Disorder for the court?)

LMAO!!! Yeah, the German was such a strong runner that two police helicopters, various media choppers, a squadron of police and their dogs, etc. couldn't even catch him. He ran all the way from Malibu to the valley in 3 minutes.

Apparently the owner of the Enzo is also the owner of the SLR. Can you say win-lose situation....?

By the way, was the Enzo designed to split into pieces in a severe crash? (That is not a joke :))
