If you paid through CC I have to manually activate you. I get an email and then attempt to find your username through the email you paid with. If your email doesn't match your username email, then I have nothing to match and will respond asking what your username is. If the email you paid with is invalid or you have a filter that blocks my response, then I usually have to wait for the user to contact me. Your subscription only starts once it is activated. So if you paid by CC, forward me the email receipt they sent you with your username and all will be fine.

Paypal is immediate unless you don't have a previous balance and you use a cc to fund that balance (should have just used the CC option in the first place). Your subscription won't activate until it clears, which may be anywhere from 5 days to 20 days. Our system sometimes doesn't pick-up automatically when your paypal clears, so I have to do that manually too.

If you subscribe, best with Paypal if you have enough balance in your account already. Otherwise use 2checkout CC option and enter the same email your account is registered under. Same with renewals.

I'm not looking for donations or handouts, FerrariChat.com is a business (maybe not a great one :)) and we attempt to make a profit. I have a full time job right now and don't need FerrariChat.com to pay the mortgage or put food on the table. However, my goal is to be a stay at home dad as Jennie and I start a larger family. She has a great job as PA-C and Associate Professor at UT Southwestern. The benefits are great working for a state hospital system and she may enjoy doing that the rest of her life. I don't beg users to subscribe and hopefully I don't force them to subscribe. Those out of picture space or wanting to advertise on FerrariAds.com may disagree. :) Most functionality is available as a Non Subscribed user and hopefully I add enough value back to Subscribers to make it worthwhile. Basically, I don't want to accept anything for nothing, I want you to feel you receive more value than you put back into the community. People like Brian Crall add much value and we thank them through sponsoring as Consultants. If there are Ferrari techs out there selfishly offering you help on FerrariChat.com and they're not a Consultant already, please let me know. If they have been missed by me so far, it wasn't my intention.

    Thank you,
    rob

Thanks Rob. I sent you my information. As for the subscription, I don't know about the others but I really like having this board to go to if there are problems with the car or just finding out what others are doing. The subscription fee is more than fair in my judgement.

    thanks again,

    Leonard
