Is it racing legal to stretch lightweight canvas over your roof for better aerodynamics?

    front glass for plastic
the obvious, light mag wheels and racing tires
carbon body parts. I believe besides the obvious bumpers you can also get hood, fenders in carbon. At least for the 355 they were available so the front fenders should fit the 348 as do the bumpers. I know I can get you bumpers. Yes, they are even lighter than the Challenge ones.

If you use it on the street make sure you keep the firewall in the car as well as the rear window.

Well if you're gonna do that, may as well go with CF intake plenum, valve covers, air box, and air intakes.

Problem is these things are basically not available except at huge prices. It is actually cheaper to have someone pull molds and make them for you.

Sorry, I have no data because I keep changing this darn car. I need to start all over again with tire pressures and temps and still need to weight the car and the unsprung weight corners etc... I have too many excuses. I race between skiing and fishing seasons and the vette boys are trying like mad to draw me into their world. I do a "vette only" race school next month so I am trying to get the Z06 ready for that. My 348 handling has changed dramatically with the really stiff front end and now I am really trying to find my a$$ with both hands. I promise to report data as soon as can and work within your schedule.

I'm still on the lightening project, last parts in my hands were

stock clutch and flywheel both awful heavy ive put an 7,25" tripple plate on it and an new flywheel plate with 7,25". And removed all parts in the flywheel ground plate .. the springs and grease whats in there. Wich brings the weight to only ~9kg. Then the doorstakes cut out .. they don't look realy heavy but they are without the stakes the part weights nearly nothing. The seats with 39kg reduced to 20kg. And i removed the two steel pipes between the subframe and put some aluminium ones in there. Didn't have an wieght of these at the moment. The horn system with the compressor and all also went out. All valves, hoses and other cables from the a/c system. Now i've put out the rear window and maybe the small rear side windows looking how heavy they are.
