Yer, i live in Hornsby Heights and go thought there even weekend or 2, he doesnt move many of the more expensive cars, i think he makes most of his money from the chaper cars he has on the roof, he had a TVR there the other day and i had never seen one before, looked pretty cool i thought.
thats what i was thinking cause he's always got the same ferrari's and other exotics there, you should buy the 360....lol
it must be North Adelaide because outside the parklands one has to dial 0011 for international rates!
this one? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134928630&postcount=12 which i posted as a spot over a year ago: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=134629706#post134629706 if so i invited him out a couple times for sfr but he never made it, haven't spoken to him for a couple months.
definitely the NSX. forget underpowered, that thing is a rocketship. to my untrained-passenger-sphincter it goes 9/10ths as hard as the Gallardo, but feels more nimble with a beautiful connection to the road. the induction roar over 4k rpm is fantastic (i was in it yesterday at redline several times) and it actually sounds pretty decent from the outside. also, you wouldn't believe how good the visibility is, it makes anything this side of a clubman seem like you're enclosed in a tank. oh, as for spots, i saw a black NSX on greenhill rd yesterday, may have been that one. we were going the opposite direction, i mumbled "mmm sweet NSX", and the gf just about did an injury craning her neck to see it. i wondered why and asked her why she cared so much (she doesn't give a toss about cars) and she said "oh, i thought you said 'theres people having sex' "
LOL, yep pitty im olnly 16 and still at school, but i am considering following you as a electriction , did it for work experience and liked it, do you rekon i will be able to get a ferrari by the time im 35??
I'm getting sick of hearing the 430 spider of my neighbour's taking off and returning every day. what can i do about it? i'm also sick of hearing his perfect blip blip downchanges. am i just jealous? there's something about it that makes me want to drive me car. tell ya what....they're bloody loud, those 430s. i'd love to hear what mine sounds like one day. pity i never let anyone drive it, really.
heh. it's funny how most owners don't really know just how great their car sounds. mates of mine would just say "farken sweet" so i thought mine sounded decent enough, until i heard my old man thrashing it through the hills... i fell in love all over again. still can't believe the messerschmidt/911 2.7 that came out on sunday. 300m behind his exhaust would fill your cabin and you'd swear that his gear-changes were yours... and that you were the Red Baron. it completely drowned out goober's GT4. never heard anything like it.
hmmmmm......i remember scott was following me once...he was in his X5...all i got told was that veena was complaining about the noise from my car giving her a headache! that's not quite as good as what you said, was it?
car sound is like australian politics before 1905, chicks and vics - er i mean gays - opinions don't count.
ROFL, Several of us here know an electrician who has at least a dozen Ferraris and 4 or so Porsche thingo's. So yes, you can if you work hard enough.
Well, I did steal it once. The nicest thing about your car was the clutch. I can't belive how progressive and light it was, you'd never dream of stalling the car. Funny thing, I seem to recall someone who had a lot of trouble with it, what was his name? Carl. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Drove a very early 3.0 liter one for a few days back in 1990. It was a seriously impressive machine except for the brakes. They were utter rubbish. Horrid single pot calipers front and rear, disgraceful in both feel and performance. The engine revved really nicely and it had a nice box and excellent throttle feel. The version I drove was a special apparently with the power steering deleted which was apparently supposed to be a Japan only feature. The steering was really really tactile, lovely. It was a dealer demonstator and apparently all sucessive models had the electric power steering which was apparently.....horrid! The spare parts prices make Ferrari prices look cheap BTW, be warned. Regards, Carl.
My fault for trying to be gentle with it. I should have just wound it up to 8500rpm and dumped the clutch! What, with all those oil leakes and the bananna chassis it's not like I could add to anything.
ummmmmmm. it was something.......ummmmmm...a word, i think. i didn't take much notice...i was suffering from CO poisoning at the time.
