Help pls, Mondial QV running very rich

It sounds like several small problems to me. The aux air valve is one, you need to check your airflow sensor plate height, if it is off you will never get it to run properly, the other thing that comes to mind is control pressures. I don't think it is fuel distributor. The three biggest killers of fuel distributors are, dirt, fuel turned to varnish, and water along with the chemicals to make the water mix with gas. Buying a used fuel distributor is a roll of the dice at best. You don't know how much dirt got in it, or if gas went bad in it, what condition the o-rings are in, etc.
If you call me I can talk you through the tests you need to do, I wish I could wright them all down here but I am too slow at typing and it would be very long.

Am I missing somethink here, if I see BLUE smoke I always thought it was oil burning, usually an over rich engine pumps out Black smoke.
Correct me if I am wrong

 

Blue smoke can be unburnt fuel as well, particularly at idle (not talking about old V-12's here <grin>) Standard fault on Mondials, 308 4V's when the frequency valve control relay fuse fails...

Please, check pressures, both primary system pressure and control pressures. That will isolate the problem. If the car was running right and all of a sudden it started doing this, it's not likely an accumulation of debris in the fuel distributor, but it could be the rod sticking...
