Have been out of town, and thought you might like this.
Here is the email I received from eBay.

    Dear howardagency,

Thank you for your recent auction-style listing on eBay. Unfortunately, we removed the following item(s): 8040875409 - Ferrari

The following information may help explain the reason for your listing(s) removal:

A manufacturer or intellectual property rights owner has reported to eBay that this posting violates their intellectual property rights in one or more more ways. When eBay is notified by an intellectual property rights owner of an intellectual property rights violation, eBay removes the posting in order to meet certain legal requirements. Using a manufacturer's photo or item description
Posting a counterfeit or "fake" item
Posting an unauthorized copy of an media (such as software or video games)

Questions about the specific violation should be addressed to Ferrari SpA (Italy) at the following email address: [email protected]

Your eBay fees for this item have been credited to your account. All bidders on this item have been notified of its cancellation.

eBay understands that it can be frustrating to have a listing removed. If you have further questions, you can take the following steps:

Take eBay's brief tutorial on Intellectual Property Policies and VeRO
Read the ended listings FAQ at http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidence/vero-removed-listing.html
Ask eBay a question using the link on the above help page

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

    Regards,

    eBay Trust & Safety

At least it wasn't some auto reply. Try to relist it without any reference that the F-cops could nail you on.

Funnier if you all email [email protected] and ask if they would verify this part came from an Enzo.

    Muhahahaha...

What I don't understand is, if any 'normal' person trashed a Ferrari, would said person RUN and try to hide ???

There are some cliffs in the area I might try to run to - so I could jump off.....

This story is adding up to a movie….I bet some Hollywood Producer already has a script written for an action movie….So far we have Multi Million dollar Bell-Air estates, super rich foreigners, $1M cars, stunning crash, Swedish Mafia, gun magazines, stolen SLR, Scotland banks, Scotland Yard…..heck at this point the movie is writing itself….give it another week and it will be done and out in theaters by Summer. I would vote Nicolas Cage as the main lead…..after all he has an Enzo I believe.

Mark, you're certainly onto something. I'd pay money to see it! Let's just hope that no Ferraris are injured during the filming of the crash scene!

Ah heck what is $1M to crash an Enzo for Hollywood....Heck Nicolas Cage gets $25M a movie.....he could probable use a new one anyway.

Hilarious...this quote from the bottom of the article in the LA Times....I just love the last line.

"Carol Moss, a longtime Malibu resident, activist and meditation group leader, said the accident came as no surprise.

"It was horrendous, but Malibu is full of idiots," she said. "There are a lot of wild cars and irresponsible people. The roads are dangerous. You always see people with those sorts of cars. You see some wild behavior."

But, in keeping with her Zen frame of mind, Moss extended an olive branch. "Everyone is welcome to attend the meditation group. Even the drag racer."

I'm still having a hard time believing there was a second person in the car---it's just not adding up. Now there's talk of a mafia connection.

I certainly hope the truth comes out soon!
