Hi MButner - I can appreciate your interest in my search, but I'm not sure why my decision regarding a cars mileage (that I located prior to my post on FC) should, or would, elicit an emotional response from you. As I stated from the start, I'm looking for a needle in a haystack, and yes (having owned several Ferraris) I am fully aware of the time and effort this will consume. However, I think it is fair that I be the one who concerns himself with that. I don't seek a response my friend, just an observation.

Don't you worry about that RACERDJ!! I'd NEVER buy a paddle shifter. If I want to play a video game, I'll buy an XBox, not a Ferrari. But as I want to interact with the most beautiful drivetrain ever, I'll ALWAYS drive a stick!!
    Just my jaded opinion!!

Matt have you driven the 6 speed on the F430?

Now THAT'S what I like to hear.

Us 6-speed brothers gotta stick together, given that our numbers are diminishing rapidly!

I have a 3 pedal 430. It's mechanical in the traditional Ferrari sense, but slick....perfect. I don't know why anyone would want anything else, but, hey, that's just me!

Matt, I can relate, tit. is a wonderful color and having owned two of them, I have never been tired of it. It changes so much depending on the light and has so much metal flake it really pops. Good luck in your search.
    6sp or course.
