Saw MACARBON & Carrozzeria Design selling Carbon Fiber F1 shift paddles for the CS. I was tempted but I'm not sure whether it'll go well with the car.. I mean.. there's a lot of CF from the factory already (good thing!!), but behind the steering wheel looks a tad bit out of place.. I feel the same way even for the Enzo.. but that's factory... and I don't think it looks bad when the leather on the dash is black.. when it's red however, it stands out like a pus-filled pimple.

What do you guys think? ANy CS owners tried them? If so, what are your opinions on them? Does the weave match the stock CF weave on the door panels/center console etc.? Any comments and/or opinions welcome. The CS has a shorter down-shift paddle as opposed to the up-shift.. which I'm not sure the CF paddles are.. but if they are.. hmm.. that is about the only thing left on my car to mod.. except Tubi headers of course.. but let's not go there.. LOL..

    Baasha,

I agree that carbon fiber does not necessarily go everywhere. I'd be interested to see a picture of your dash layout. Let me know if you'd like me to send you some pictures of various cars, including Challenge Stradale's, with our carbon fiber paddles installed.

If you decide to get carbon fiber paddles, get them from Valence, because we make the finest ones available. We fabricate all of our parts ourselves in Virginia, and we have F1 paddles of most varieties ready to ship.

Our "Corsa" paddle for the 360/CS has the same size upshift as the CS upshift, and a slightly larger downshift than the stock CS downshift. If you're looking for a certain length for one side or the other, let us know and we can accomodate that request.

    Thanks,

    Brian Coffing

I think alum paddles would give you a better feel. Not a CF fan myself.

ROFLMAO!! Luke, haha.. that's great.. Actually.. in my particular case.. I'd be better working out before going on a drive to shed some of that excess poundage.. LOL.. I was mainly interested in the CF paddles as a cosmetic embellishment.. that's all..

I've got them in my 360 (not a CS). Drop me a PM, and you can look at them see if they would look ok in your car.
