Noboody is here forever. Life can change at the drop of a hat. Kirby Puckett yesterday, this today. Both seemingly outstanding individuals. Sad indeed...

By all accounts, she was very doting towards him and really took care of him after the accident. :(

    Kirby Puckett, then Dana Reeve...

Anybody want to place bets on who will be the third celebrity to complete this celebrity death trifecta?

Well, Don Knotts started it last week, but......Andy Rooney maybe? I saw a shot of him at the Oscars on TV the other night...looking pretty old, but hanging in there enough to attend.

Was Mr. Reeve a smoker? She wasn't.

    Very sad.

Don Knotts was the largest name in the recently completed celeb
death trifecta of Knotts, Dennis Weaver, and Darren McGavin.

Medical concensus was this was a second hand smoking thing. Mrs. Reeve was a singer by trade and spent many hours in smoke filled jazz clubs. I feel bad for the 13 y/o son left behind....yeesh thats a lot for a middle schooler to deal with.

I saw her and superman on Larry King right before superman's death and I was so impressed with her. She is fantastic and an all around great person. What a loss.

Dang, John, don't start any threads about me - everyone you talk about is dead!

It's sad though. Poor boy has had to lose both parents to long term conditions.

Did you just say Kirby Puckett was an outstanding individual? I'm not going to piss on the guy's grave, but to call him an outstanding individual (off the field) is an equal stretch in the OTHER direction
