Click on search at the top as there are several threads with reference to this, Mondials are notoriously slow and I have heard of cases where new motors have been fitted and made no difference

Hetek has a great "how to" on fixing that window motor: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=135373569&postcount=14

FYI, it is a standard Bosch motor (found in countless cars). You can find it used on eBay or have it rebuilt (or re-wired to make it run faster) for $50 or less. It just unbolts from the window assembly.

Setting the cables back up correctly is a biatch! I kinked mine during the process & had to buy a new part & then left it to my mechanic to re-install.

I have a couple of spare window motors on sale in the parts section. Working great, but keep in mind that the problem is mainly caused by hardened grease around the moving parts and that has to be removed and treated with new grease.

My rear window motor wasn´t of the BOSCH type. Presumably Magneti Marelli. Anyway, I found a spare motor and I'm in the process of replacing the old one.

Here are some photographs, just in case they could be helpful for someone else with a broken unit from a t. I will report again as soon as the fixed unit is back in place.

Check the voltage at the window motor when you press the window button. My voltage was 6 volts. I used DPDT relays with a fused hot wire. Do a search it will show the procedure.

Where did you get the DPDT relays? Brand name, model? Thanks in advance.

    It's done.

List price (Ferrari) for the complete unit: ca. 1000 EUR but unobtainable on this planet
Price for the used spare motor: 25 EUR

I didn't manage to find the FIAT type for the complete assembly. But it seems the window motor itself has been assembled in millions of FIATs, so finding a used replacement motor is pretty easy.
