McDonalds service to get slower

I don't think that the problem is that the service is slow but that the food is horrible. I'd rather get a decent fast food meal in four minutes than a carton of yak vomit in 32 seconds.

Interestingly enough, my favorite fast food - Wendy's - happens to serve fastest at the drive-thru!

Who in their right mind eats at McDonalds anyway...or who that cares even a little about their health?

 

Of all the Big Chains, Wendy's is the best. I like to "customize" their burgers with some "bastourma" (lebanese spicy beef-jerky).

I eat at McDonalds - so because of that I don't care about my health?

They serve hamburgers and fries and soft drinks. You don't eat hamburgers? You folks make it sound like they serve liquid cholesterol and roadkill. It seems to be PC nowadays to say "oh McD's is crap food!" but whenever I am there, there's a long line, so apparently most of the population doesn't agree.

I am sure you're a model of health, cut and toned and buffed to the max, and have never eaten fast food. But for those of us who are sometimes running late or don't feel like making dinner because we worked late, McD's is a viable option.

 

Not sure what to think here: been by our local Mc D's many times, never seen their yaks vomit.

 

Some mod made boobs a taboo subject. I suppose arguing about McDonalds is less offensive...

 

There's that, and the test run of outsourcing drive-thru order takers to India.

I guess if we want local service we should all be moving to India eh?

Oh, I don't do the fast food thing but one morning we werer in a hurry and stopped at the McD's while we were getting gas.

It was as if the counter worker was making an extra effort to be as slow and stupid as possible. But no, she just really WAS that stupid. Outsource everything to India (and trust me, living in Dubai, I have no illusions about the competence of Indians) before you force me to deal with that homegrown epitome of incompetence ever again.

If there were an emoticon available, it would feature my head exploding. And me being grateful for the explosion. You wanna know what's wrong with America? People think that theyu should be able to afford to raise a family, own a house, with two new cars in the garage, when they work at McDonalds and WalMart.

Meanwhile Koreans and Indians build cars and program computers while riding bicycles to work from their mud huts.

 

Since she was down on the floor, did she get a raise?

 

McDo is fine IMHO for what you expect.

Funny you say that.. When my wife was having our first daughter at St. Barnabus in Livingston (one of the top in the country for NIC units), the ONLY 24 hour place to get food in the entire hospital (which is frickin HUGE like a city) is McDonalds!

You have to goto a hospital to eat food that will kill you. Aint that some s**t???

I dont eat mcdonalds but maybe 5 times a year, but some of their food does taste good. Feel like crap afterwards, but its no worse then a hangover from alcohol (which is bad for you, too)


Why is it everything that is fun or tastes good in life is frickin bad for you?!?! God's cruel joke!

 

How are they going to make complex drinks when most of them couldn't remember their own name long enough to punch it into a computer correctly?

 

I met the guy in charge of the software. His study was in North Dakota.

We stopped in at a McD's to grab a coffee, and the annoying thing is they add cream and sugar behind the counter. So now it's a colossal PITA to get your coffee just right.

On a related not, Starbucks is enhancing its food service to counter the threats of McDonald's, Dunkin' Donuts and others.

 

Mc D's is gross. I dont eat fast food at all. I made the mistake of eating Mc D's once last year when in a hurry and felt like crap for next 2 days. All the fat people standing in line are increasing my taxes when they all need more subsidized medicine in the next 20 yrs. McSocialism. MMMMMM.
