Look, not trying to lecture here...but at least be accurate towards the target being stereotyped. A similar mistake led to a sikh gas station owner being murdered post 9/11 on the assumption that he was of islamic origin. Sad to see more people still don't know any different....

But, like I said, I laugh and cut up as much as the next fellow....

 

ell as a Persian you would think I would be more offended. Its sometimes better to see the brighter side and not think that people are a racist. Many people here make jokes that could offend others but in reality we know that if push came to shove its not the case. For you to address the matter makes people become so sterile. I am not by any means condoning racial profiling but I think you get my point.

Well put Antony. I tend to think that racism as a JOKE is very funny (see Carlos Mencia's stand-up, he mocks *everyone* including the 'whities'. Dave Chapelle too.) because let's face it, some of the **** has some truth to it. We're all different, and sometimes the differences can be funny as hell.

I don't recall making any generalisations or stereotypes, neither am I interested in debating cultural differences: We are all One People.
My post related to the fact that Easterners MUST have jokes about Westerners--and I would love to hear them.
Please don't be so sensitive--it only adds to the problem you seem intent on perpetrating.
