    Masking tape and visqueen is the best you are gonna do. Dust will still get everywhere, unless you seal the space off completely and start accessing the bathroom through the window.
    Don't ask me how I know.

    If you have forced air central heat, make sure you close the vent in the bathroom.

    You need to place the room under negative pressure.

    Do you have a central vac? If so, run it it the bath room.

    If not, you might place a fan blowing air out the window. That should force air to come in from the other room.

    neg pressure is the only thing that will work. I suspect your heat is on.

    Heat is on, but vents are closed in bedroom, plugged completely in bathroom. Maybe I should pull the vent covers, try to plug the ducts, and then put the covers back on. I guess I should consider cracking a window as well, so that if there is any positive pressure being created, it will get more easily forced out the window instead of into the house.

    Hey--any thoughts on ways to effectively plugged the heat vents???
