And the MC12? I heard rumours of a mexican one, now i see it is true... Any chanches to know who's the owner and, most important, VIN and/or plate numbers?
so then does anybody know anything about the other 2 mexican Enzos? i have the first one as 136xxx, owned by Jose Romero, with plats 8-YN-69. this is the car that was in miami a while back. and i have absolutely zero info on the other one, if there is in fact 3 Enzos in Mexico but i also have listed that the Enzo with plates 8-YN-69 (the one seen in miami) was owned by Carlos Hank. can anyone clear anything up? thanks
That is right there were 3 Enzo sold in Mexico, the one from Ricardo Vega, another one to Carlos Hank it is also in Mexico, and the one in Miami was sold to Jose Romero.
the most interesting thing to me about this thread is: why JGCFERRARI is so familiar with the mexican "ferrari scene" are you located in mexico? if so where? please fill your profile so we can get to know each other a little better and yes I'm aware of at least 3 Enzos in mexican soil (perharps some others unregistered) P.S. How many Enzo owners also have a Maserati Corse 12 ? I mean they are so similar ... so WHY?
i agree. if i remember correctly, jcgferrari said he has info on the first 349 cars or something... can you shed any light on any and all info you have on the 3 Enzos on Mexican soil? why own both, you ask? when money isnt an object, the reason probably isnt too different than why you have a model of each (im pretty sure you posted a picture of a model of each one next to eachother on te street...if not, my bad)
All the info I have on the Mexican Enzos is that 3 were sold, the only VIN I have is for the one of Ricardo Vega, it is from the first 349 cars, and there were 2 more sold, one to Mexican Ferrari collector Carlos Hank, who also owns a 1964 250 GTO, 275 NART etc., and the 3rd was sold to Jose Carlos Romero, as I said before this 3rd one is the one that went to Miami, the other 2 are still in Mexico, all of them are Rosso Corsa.
Frank Mountain in the UK (he had another MC12, now he owns a second one). Alberto Garnerone here in Italy. Ricardo Vega in Mexico. Probably Kroymans in Holland. Maybe Don Wallace in the USA (2 Enzos, including the #400/399 and a wrecked one).
Anyway, they might be similar, but there are some slight differences: - The MC12 has power windows - The MC12 has a different valve timing system: twin gear driven instead of using a chain, like the Enzo. - The MC12 has an analog clock lol. And i don't consider the fact it has a removable roof....
it took me several weeks to answer this but here's the answer: I have both scalemodels because they are among 100+ models inmy collection ; so similarity ain't an issue there. but in real life I doubt someone can own 100 exotic cars. have you s/n junkies checked this 4th mexican enzo? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=135623705#post135623705
MC12 and Enzo have exactly same engine in both cars. they are both time chained engines. Who on earth told you the MC12 engine was different in any way... its amazing how people just post information from out of the blue.
