Found this on mbworld. Looks to good to be true. Never leased but this sounds tempting.

    http://www.mbusa.com/models/main.do?modelCode=E55

the new face lift/engine are due to be out soon. but if you like to classic look then this is a great deal. some guys on mbworld think you can get the lease for $850 per month

    "here is the breakdown

    MSRP: 87,925
    Dealer cont: 2,414
    Cap cost red: 3,000
    Residual value: 50,010 (56.8%)
Money Factor: .00125 (very, very low)

    Base payment: $999 + tax

NOW, if you find those dealers that were offering 8,000 off a new one? well.... with these residuals, and money factors, you could be at:

    $850/month!"

YEASH! i wish i got the 55 instead of the 350 4 matic now!

Anything less than about 1.5% of MSRP per-month with 0 cap reduction by the customer is a relatively good deal.

Don't know about the '07 model....new '06s and below were in the $175K to $200K range, depending on dealer and options on them. Used? Now that's a different story. I'd have to check.

It is also a hugely long lease, I saw it in paper yesterday, 39 months
Not likely worth keeping that long.

10 thousand miles a year on the E55 lease then a quarter per mile over that?

Yeesh, lets see...I drive 25,000 miles per year...so thats 15,000 miles per year over milage times 3 and a quarter years is 48,750 miles over milage times 25 cents per mile is.........$12,187.50 to turn that car back to MB Financial. You think that they offer convienent financing on this amount?

Don't think that I will be leasing an E55 anytime soon. Lease on my STS is in the $700s and I get 25000 miles per year on that lease.

I told him that the website says 999 and that I will take the car for 900 a month and he gave me some **** so I walked out. I will be going to another dealership soon, I want the CLS 55!!!!!!

I work for an ad agency with a client in the exotic auto leasing field, and I'm looking for input: How do Ferrari lovers view leases? What are the upsides/downsides? Opinions and general comments are welcome, and thanks.
