Fxx is not programmed at this time, may be when Kyosho arrived it will be possible to have a diecast.

no launch date concenring these cars.

about the F40 you can have a Kit available by APM, and also on Ebay.

Kyosho there s 8 months and more it was programmed, but until today i never see it...

Hmm, Neil I'll believe it when i see it!

Would anyone really buy the Lightweight if they alreay had the standard F40? I'd be tempted but looking at the changes, its probably not worth it!

Think I'd save the money for the AA lambos etc

I don't know that I'd buy the lightweight F40, but I do like the wheels... does anyone have a line on some different wheels for the standard Kyosho 1:12 F40?

I have googled a bit for it, and it seems these are the changes to the "normal" model:

    black wheels
    sliding windows
red inner doortrim (just as the first series F40)
different exhaust system (I presume it resembles a Tubi system)

It would be nice to have, but I don't like the black wheels, so I think I'll pass on this one...

What I would REALLY like to see, is an F40 LM variation of this model. That would be great!

That's what I'm planning to do with the Light Weight version when I get my hands on one. I already have the 'light tune' transkit from APM and have sorted the wheels already...

Here's a link which shows the 'tubi' exhaust on the lightweight version http://www.gieffeci.com/kyosho/Kyosho112.html

think im gonna save my money also, not keen on the wheels and the minor changes dont in my opinion justify me spending another £300 on a model and having to justify my obsession with her indoors!!!

i love the original kyosho f40 as it is...although red door inners are better

Where did you get the wheels? I would like to get a set of "aftermarket" wheels for my 1:12 F40...

I got them from autoplacemodel.com but they come as part of a 'Light tune' transkit which also includes the F40 LM rear wing, front spoiler and various other bits.

Thins link will take you there: http://www.autoplacemodel.com/product/prod_20051215_f40lm12.html

I have also seen someone selling aftermarket rims for pocher 1/8 scale and Tamiya/Kyosho 1/12 scale Ferraris so keep a look out.
