Never been in a limo, not sure what to tip them. I hate undertipping people.
How far are they taking you? How much is the ride costing? Were they a good driver? (I have been with some bad limo drivers). My dad uses CLS transport all the time to the airport (110 miles). He usually tips about $60-80.
What about Town Car transfers to the airport? About 25 miles. I only give like $20 each way. The ride is about $125 round trip.
I agree with the 20% But when I was in Vegas, even though it only took 30 minutes from Mirage to Mandalay bay. They charged me for an hour, I still tipped at least 20% But should I have? I took several one hour limos that weekend and the ride was always about 30 minutes.
Took 30 min to go from Mirage to Mandalay? Did you make the guy stay on the Strip the whole way, or what?
It's in the fine print that they "dont do" rides under an hour, therefore your charged the minimum rate. The driver doesn't see a penny of that hour rate. So you should probably tip. Next time tell him to take the scenic route so it takes longer
Jump out of the limo, slip him a $20 note in his breast pocket, give him a light slap across the cheek and tell him to be good to his mother Thats more than enough
