A deaf young lady was killed before she had a chance to fully experience life, and all you guys can do is sit back and make wisecracks.

It's sad that she had to die in such a manner, texting her parents as she walked along the railway of life.

I found a transcript of the text message:

She might have thought that the train would only be as wide as the track. And if she hadn't seen a train pass by at speed she may have thought it would slow down and stop like a car.

No they aren't. When was the last time you heard someone say "we need to bring awareness to people about train tracks"? The high speed steel bullets that take a mile to stop are dangerous. Buy no more dangerous than me in my 5.

Very sad story...especially losing a fellow Texan.


On the truly outrageous side: there was a case up here in PA in which a woman sued Union Pacific because she was injured while walking on their tracks and was sideswiped by a train. In her suit, she claimed that she was never told that trains traveled on train tracks!!

 

Since so many of us are going to hell, I think we should start an F-CHAT HELL EDITION!!!!
