I am definitely not a Jimmy hater. I just gave an honest assessment of the situation and I personally think that some of it might help Jimmy down the road so that he doesn't find himself in any trouble...I think simply changing the line "You cannot buy this key unless you are an Enzo owner" to something like "rare and very hard to obtain, will cost you a lot of money unless you own an Enzo" ....would take all liability off of him...because that is a fluff statement that can be argued against...I am not calling all his former clients or trying to stir it up...because ultimately its none of my damn business...
But I do believe that everyone states their honest opinion, simply solutions can be found and employed that could possibly divert any possible disasterous circumstances...

    With that being said,
I personally like the guy's style and I have enjoyed a lot of his previous posts he has made on this board in the past.

Why can't we all just get along? Somebody start playing Kumbayah.... Jimmy Haters, Glassman Breakers, Pro-veggie, anti-steakers, let's all remember why we are here. For the joy of Ferrari, not the finger pointing.

Jimmy - I think you should refer to yourself in the third person...
i.e. Jimmy does not defraud, look at Jimmy jump, etc.. (Like on Seinfeld).

    :D :D

I don't remember Glassman attacking Jimmy or his keys.

As for you, get your facts straight before you go flying off the handle about stuff you know nothing about.

Not a Jimmy hater at all. Don't even know the guy. But I know I wouldn't buy anything from him. I have no use for dishonest people.

    Amen to that !

I remember asking why with very many 'minor' issues , boardmembers have
been raked over the coals , but when we were discussing Roland (the LeMans
winner - remember ?) , everyone was pussing footing about , and Awhite
    was actively defending Roland.

play , sure , but play fair.

I have been reading this for some days now, everyday I think to myself, when is jimmy(defendant) going to show up? and today jimmy shows up, I was expecting a good fight, words being thrown around, mothers being insulted and sexual orientation being questioned. but no, jimmy shows up on page 8, 8 days after the first post, and awhite(plaintiff) who has been active these 8 days, is nowhere to be found. WHATS UP WITH THAT PEOPLE???

oh and another thing, what we just saw see is an example of a free government. if you don’t like the price, go somewhere else, we have choices in this country, there are great deals out there, you just have to look for them and be patient. you have to work for the good stuff, and this includes good deals.

I suggest someone walk in to a Ferrari dealership and find out the cost of a Enzo/Stradale blank key. I bet it will list for more than $300.

Jimmy would truly be a moron to get involve in this pissing match. Some of you will never be content no matter what he says. Better to just let this thread die a slow death as it should.

    glASSman/Bill,

You omit critical information about the authenticity of the reproduction Ferrari manuals you sell on EBAY and call this acceptable conduct? You let the buyer figure it out, and insist you are not a scammer? Them you come into the chat room and brag about it.

You cheat not only the buyer but also Truth in advertising.

Would you like to produce some factual information regarding this claim. You are spouting off again with no factual information. I have never sold a Marparts Manual without stating it is a Marparts Reprint Of The Original. You are mistaken and continue to slander me. Who in the hell do you think you are, fabricating this BS?
Incidentaly, you are the ASS here!!

    Dear Hothead,

Your quote is above, where you condone stretching the truth to unsuspecting buyers for your own profit and gain. The only thing more absurd is admitting and endorsing it on a public forum.
Is there any doubt how someone could perceive you as a scammer?

I'll bet your number of return customers is rather low, but here in the Bay area reputations mean quite a bit so you couldn't make it with business ethics like yours.

My quote is to make a point. E-bay is not the most trustworthy place to buy items from. Fraud is rampant and it is in the buyers best interest to research and read between the lines. I do not condone stretching the truth, but it is unfortinutely a fact of life especially on e-bay.

You have taken my comments completely out of context and I do not appreciate your BS. This thread was started by someone complaining about someone allegedly overcharging for an item on e-bay. How can you overcharge on an item that people bid on? Either bid on it or buy it from the dealer, don't whine about it here. For god sake we are Ferrari owners. Don't we know where and how to buy Ferrari related items without crying about it?

Asking me to edit a post from days ago?

This is an unreasonable request as editing is limited to the few minutes after the original posting, beyond that the edit button is removed. You've several thousand postings, I'm a bit surprised you weren't aware of this.

Then again, your weren't aware of the correct English language when you said
"...change it and say your sorry ..."
    should have been
"...change it and say you're sorry ..."
