    The Autobiography of Malcolm X

Although I didn't always agree with his views, I love how he wasn't afraid to change his views if you could convince him that what he believed was wrong. I think he gets a bad rap from people who only know the Nation of Islam Malcolm and not the one who evolved into a true Hero. A brave man who knew he wouldn't see many days. He was instrumental in changing the "Cause" from Civil rights to Human Rights and developing the idea that you should control the economy of your own neighborhood. He really brought out the hypocracy of Religion, government, police...you name it.

I just bought a 17 CD set of many of his greatest speaches, it's fantastic. If he was willing to die for civil rights, how much more so should we all be aware of racism, poverty, and all the other evils of the world and do something about it.

I borrowed his main book (Unleash something) from a friend and tried to read it on several occasions. I think I read fairly competently, and I couldn't understand WHAT he was trying to get to. I think he's full of of BS.

I think the best motivator is work. Nothing makes you feel like you can accomplish something like actually doing a good, thorough task. Work is harder than reading, listening to tapes, watching videos, or having your employer pay thousands so you can listen to it in person, so I don't think I'm going to get rich on that idea.

    Here's my favorite:
