I'm not a fan of JPM, IMO he is a whiner and his driving is overrated. He is not consistant enough in terms of pace; while he does have his fast races where he is as good as anyone, there are just there are too many where he is lost.

Add to this what I percieve to be a very ungracious attitude filled with many bitter and jealous comments, at the same time mixed with excessive pride and ego. Not my type of guy, not my type of driver... I can simply do without him.

Kimi, which I'm not comfortable with since he can really drive. He's shoved a few marshalls (though one was being an arse) after a few of his (car's) breakdowns.

JV - He should hang it up. He's a permanent back-marker and just causes problems.

That backmarker was quicker and in a better position in the race than Heidfeld when his engine expired. Of all the clowns that have been and are in F1 (Ralf Schumacher comes to mind) what is it with the JV bashing?

And as far as saying MS was better than GV, here we go with the stats. In GV's time which was only from 77 through the 3rd or 4th race of 82, he only had one season with a good car (1979) and the reliability was far less then, as it was in Senna's time, let alone Michaels time. No doubt Schumacher is the greatest driver of his generation, yet he also is raced in a period of time where the best driver (Senna) died, Mansell got old, and Prost retired. He was at a team built around him and the cars are so much more reliable than the old days. So to make a comment about MS being twice as good as Senna or GV is pure stupidty.

I don't think you know what the hell you are speaking about. As far as Guitarists, Ritchie Blackmore can easily hold his own against those two guys.

Regarding Mansell or Prost, had they died no one would have considered them the best driver ever. If that was the case than Alberto Ascari should have been thought of that way, yet he wasn't, FANGIO was. So the correlation between Mansell, Prost, and Senna doesn't make any sense.

Senna was already considered a legend prior to his death, and yes he had has negatives (ramming Prost) but so does Schumacher. The difference is Senna made a lot less driving mistakes than Schumacher. In addition, had Senna lived, he would have been a 7 time champion. Of course you know more than Bernie Eccelstone, who still says that Senna was a superior driver to Schumacher.

u must be outta ur mind...alex yoong is the worst ever driver out there, and doesn't mean the fact that i'm on anyone's side, cos just because i'm a malaysian. yoong is a malaysian as well, and by far, he's the worst ever driver... i think narain by farr, is wayyy better than yoong. imo, he;s even a better driver than tiago. just remember the fact that tiago got that seat because narain lacked sponsors. if he was indeed the worst driver there, i think u should tell that to frank williams. u should check what u type before u post...

I would have to say that right now I dislike Alonso the most. I do think he is enormously talented though but he just rubs me the wrong way. That dance move he kept doing on the podium in Bahrain didn't help either. WTH was that. Was that some matador dance move? He also seemed to be making hand gestures at cars that he claimed were in his way at Bahrain but I don't think they necessarily were. I wish he would drive and keep his hands in the cars at all times and stop doing silly dance moves.

I was never big on Pedro Diniz (Spelling?) so i am glad he is out of F1 . Sato is crazy and I am never a big fan about drivers getting a ride bacuase they got a rich daddy.

Yes. He likes to mix in a bit of his home country style. Same reason why last year he poured Champagne from high above into his trophy.

Aside from celebrating Spanish traditions you also gotta realize that he is from Catalunya, which is a very proud part of Spain. You see that at the Spanish GP in Barcelona: You see more of the Catalun flags than Spanish ones and the audience even boos when they play the Spanish anthem.

Every driver has his own style for celebrations, nothing wrong with that. MS conducted along to the Italian anthem until he got (falsly) criticized for it in the Italian press (and I believe by one of Italy's ex prime ministers). He does his "patented" leap into the air. Each to his own.

Not any one driver, Ralph bugs me - always crying about something if it wasn't for MS he would not even be in F1 ...but ... BERNIE - I don't like, he should go. He's taking the sport down the same path as the IRL.

Well maybe i was being a little to hard on his dancing. I really didn't realize it was part of some tradition. Maybe I should have done some research before bringing it up. With that said I am not his biggest fan, but I do have a framed autograph picture of him and Fisico in my office at home.

Alonso used to be my second favourite behind MS before 2005. I admired his talent and driving ability; but once he was under the spotlight, I began to notice his personality. And thats when I start to dislike him along with all the little things he said about Ferrari testing and Rossi recently....

I hate it everytime he shows his victories with his fingers after the chequer flag! I would be worried if MS had to do that...........

errrr ... dare I say it ... ok, I'm not gonna say it loud I hate Schumi, because of his proficiency at driving like a boring robot, passing in the pits thanks to Ross Brawn, swerving at the start so as not to be passed, closing the door (ie Villeneuve and Hill years). Sorry. Oh, and I like Alonso too.
Perhaps I should log off Ferrarichat, change name and house now ... :D
