Is 50,000. miles on a Ferrari (I have a 87 328GTS) a major mile marker as to value. Does some happen suddenly happen to your cars resale as it clicks over 49,999.9. Should back my car around the block for 10,000. miles ??. My car has 48,XXX on it now

I bought mine with exactly 48,XXX and plan on driving it into oblivion! When she dies, REBUILD, and keep on driving!
Should NEVER buy a car for investment purposes. Besides, I think it is a sin in all the major religions NOT to drive a Ferrari.
BTW, I saw a beautiful black boxer yesterday at a shop, odometer reads 80+K. The owner of the shop says it actually has 180K, as there is no 100,000 reading possible on the odometer.
    Drive on!!!!

You become a lifetime member in the "I'm not anal about my Ferrari's mileage" club. If I married a supermodel, I sure wouldn't worry about putting too many miles on her ;)

Once you hit 50K, the value drops $20K right then. Call me though and I will buy it with only a $15K hit. Deal?

My '88 328 has 49.6K miles on it. I will never sell it and the more miles I put on it the more valuable the car becomes to ME!

I plan for mine to be the first Stradale over 50k miles!
After 10k miles, its far more about how well its been maintained than how many miles it has on it, IMHO.

** My formerly owned 1992 348ts s/n 91729 had 59,640 on it when I traded it in for a 355b in 1997. Wish I had kept the car and had it repaired. Really wish I could locate the car again for old time sake.
