Just depends on what you personally like. Also there are other choices out there, don't limit yourself to just these two. My recommendation is to do a search for sound clips to get an idea. Personally on most applications I prefer Capristo, some prefer Tubi.

    In shorter words:

    Capristo FTW.

Also if you want some sound clips or more information on some exhausts, here's some contacts.

Tubi- Ferrari of Central Florida 407-667-4300 ask for Trent Santos

Capristo or Kreis-sieg or MS Racing - I can help you with this 405-410-8149 or email [email protected]

Quicksilver- Check out ferraripartsexchange.com only people I know of with great service that offer this exhaust.

I had a x-aust on my 360 and it was amazing.. It sounded better then a tubi with a better finish and a sweeter sound.. I'm in Vancouver and there is only one place I know of where to get it.. If you want a sound thats Ferrari then this is it.. I liked it so much that I ordered it for my 430.. My cars on the water now and my exaust system is here allready.. Thats how good it is..

    Cheers Michael.

Listen to the guy who fixes these things for a living!

Go for a Tubi. You'll be very pleased with not only the sound but the quality. High quality = less headaches = happy ownership

My motto, "Buy quality, cry once."

Owned both systems on multiple Ferraris. Comes down to personal preference. If you want F1 LOUD and borderline obnoxious - go with Capristo. If you want a better sound than stock that still allows you to talk on your cell phone - go with Tubi.

Earlier versions of Capristos had quality issues with welds on the mounting brackets but the most recent generation are much better. I would say that the quality is much better today than it was a year ago.

The twin sound system is awesome, it's extremely convenient and while it's a bit on the pricier side, it's still a reasonable price.

theres also Larini. Quality product but unimpressive sound; great at high revs but not throaty enough at idle.

Having installed both Tubi and Capristo on Ferraris for some time, my personal preference is definitely Capristo. If you want to really hear the exhaust (close to F1 at high rev's) go for the Stage 3. For a less aggressive sound, opt for a Stage 2. Now you have the dual sound option (first available for the 430) from Capristo. From a tiny remote you can control the sound from inside the car.

Aesthetically, it's no comparison. The Capristo is a work of art. As far as support goes, never had a problem. Only on 2 occasions over the years has a mount gone bad after some time driving. After just one call to Nick's Forza Ferrari, we had new mounts in our hands withno excuses in 2 days; and at no charge. Now that's service.

In the end it's up to you to do your homework and listen to cars with a particular exhaust installed. Remember, it's not just the exhaust brand, but matching up that exhaust to a particular car (kind of like matching clothing outfits). For instance, the Tubi exhaust sounds incedible on the new Porsche's 997's.

    Good luck!

Any experience with Fuchs? I heard one on a 360 that sounded just great, but I've never done a side to side comparison. I don't think you can honestly have an opinion until you have heard them side by side under same conditions.

I like a low grumble and even a few pops low RPM, but then not taking out the ear drums high RPM.

What does Maranelloman have on his 550? I know he personally tried at least 3 different exhausts and finally settled on one and loves it.

Fuchs sound great. Certainly not in the capristo camp sound wise.

You described what I like and I like the Fuchs first and Tubi second sound wise.

Know nothing about quality or product support however.
