I am open. I am just going for fun.

Maybe we can all meet up ?

Ask Bill if we can get a F.C. discount (or bikers discount) on the papers, for the extremly high-priced f.e. ?

Cmon Ryan. We can pretend to be some "hi rollers" in NYC. We do not even have to stay at the Y. I have a place (that I/WE can stay) close to the UN. FWIW, - I HATE THE UN.

Guys, would love to play host in NY. Just give me solid dates of arrival, what you have in mind- i assume you want to stay in the city to be in the middle of the action- my house is open to you, but i live up in the country, so it's not the quintessential NY City experience. I would enjoy your visiting....

Ralph, I already got my tickets, so I will be there at the above mentioned dates. Only time I can't do anything is Sat, July 2nd (fam stuff).

Other than that, I am totally available. I was going to hang out with the EC crew July 1st (friday), because they were the local F chat crew.

If you come, it would be a blast!

Me and you can pretend to be ballers :D

Would be nice to crash at your place. Let me know of the details. :)

    Flying from LAX to JFK.

Never spent 4th of July in the city, so should be fun (ideas welcome).

How far are you from the city? Public transport/need to rent a car to hang wtih you?

Would love to make your acquaintance. Will bring Ralph with me!

75K for the black 355 was a good price. It was in poor condtion.

190K was a fair retail price for the Diablo. Also don't forget buyer had to pay 8 percent to BJ and paid over 205K.

John - wish I knew you were there... I had lunch with Alain de Cadenet Friday right before the broadcast... I have to suspect that Leno was the phone bidder on the Buick...

That is CRAZY! New 05 GT's can be had for 150 to 155K 06 cars are a little more. Maybe this car was the "Heritage" model which is going for higher prices than I just mentioned.

Check the date. You're responding to a comment that is almost a year old. And yes, at that time, that was the market premium for a Ford GT.

****, I'll buy any Orange 6.0 with under 10k miles for $140k. Cash offer always open.

I would value my 6.0 in absolutly fantastic condition with 4050 miles at about $185k right now, but wouldnt sell it for less than $200k. Why? There's nothing else I would want to replace it with. *Nothing* else.

i could be talking my position :) but couldn't have agreed with you more. it's hard to value something when there are only a handful of them around.

there is simply no substitute esp. if you want to get in another orange 6.0. there are four in existence to my knowledge.....yours, mine, alex's (sp engineering) and don leasing (which could have been a repaint....knowing their reputation).

There are 22 confirmed pearl orange Diablos in the US and i know of one more that is not included in that count. The one repaint , original black car ,was not included in that list of 22 since it was not an original orange car. 22 is not many by any car standard but quite a bit more than most lambo guys knew to exit, Including myself !

I think only 45 SE cars and around 260 6.0's. Around 140 total cars were brought into the US.

Dan , check with Kevin, the Vin King, on L--P o w e r . He has an unreal data base of actual cars that are accounted for all over the world. I think I remember him saying only around 5 gold cars were here in the US ? Check with him though. He should be able to give you more accurate numbers than I can.
