Yeah.. I read about that guy. It's a shame that his condition drove him to do such a thing. Possibly OCD? It's too bad that he didn't seek help for his condition. It's even more of a shame that people who knew him didn't help him with this condition... To me that's the moral thing to do.

About your neighbor.... I had a similar experience with my neighbor.. Older gentleman that was quite a green thumb. Needless to say my dog popped a squat while he was right there in front of us. What could I do???? He gave me a pretty ticked off look and I said something to him that I thought was funny but evidently he failed to see the humor.. I quickly said that I was terribly sorry and offered to clean it up as soon as I could. He said that most people just leave it there for him to deal with (lots of pets in my neighborhood) and he appreciated the offer but he would take care of it. I said to him that I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. And the strangest thing is, the very next week I saw him in church. Nicest guy you ever met.

Just my experience.... sorry about yours. Hope you two can patch it up.

Pride is a strange thing... It's like a perfect steak... Everyone wants some of it, but it's possibly the toughest thing to swallow. - James Gardner

    Cheers

    Speedy,

The other thread dealing with the shooting is still intact. You should post your nice response there as this thread was spun off to be a 'play with a troll' thread.

    Andrew G,

Don't ban him, just remove the .com from his name, we were enjoying his company - great quick entertainment breaks while working.

    Regards,

    Art S.

Agreed, his name points to his site, but that can be fixed. Other than that, his posts haven't been commercial but on-topic for off-topic (if you know what I mean). Besides, I haven't had a go at him yet :).

I'd leave it, can't imagine The Ego One not getting a perma-ban.

Look, he can still get banned, but not yet. A well fed cat doesn't kill the mouse right away, he plays with it first. Besides, this guy thinks he's brilliant, I look forward to him explaining more of his ways to us - maybe we will become enlightened...

If he starts making messes in other threads then the mods can review the situation, right now - no harm, no foul.

    Uro,

This guy hasn't done anything yet. I'm still betting that he's in highschool, or at least hasn't yet go off to collage. He's pretty creative if that's the case (not wise but creative). He kind of reminds me of the guy in vintage that claimed to have bought the 275 GT/C and had stolen or something like that - total fabricated stupidity but the self inflicted implosion was fun to watch (I think it was about 2 years ago).

    Regards,

    Art S.

I like this reviewer's comment on Amazon:

"I am amazed how much focus and attention he gives to the "spirit-murderers" and the "fear-driven", and all the "parasites" who have done him and all the richest, most successful, and most powerful people DOWN. Yes, of course, if you are successful, people will be jealous and try to knock you down, but you can rise above it, and really not care what they think, rather than devoting 200-300 pages to their malignant influence. He seems to be blaming the "spirit-murderers" and the "fear-driven" for some of the difficulties he has faced in life. But blaming others, isn't taking responsibility for your actions. It is playing the victim."

Most people probably didn't have the stomach to wade through the excerpt of his book that was on Amazon, but there was also a strangely familiar logo on his back cover :).
