    This is absolutely true, here's my experience:

    I have an '03 M3 is Laguna Seca blue and it's sort of a flashy color so it's bound to attract anyone attention. :D I was going northbound on yonge street above john street when suddenly i saw this red thing flying towards hwy 7, it passes me and goes ahead by 5-6 cars and slows down and I reach em, as it seems it was an F430 with an asian guy driving it. So as always, we start a little play (my ride goes nowhere close to an F430 but whatever), fun drive to Hwy7 and then we stand behind the light, both of us pull down the window and I compliment him on the car, so does he and I ask em to have a short run towards leslie on 7, he agrees but tells me to go first and floor it down the hwy. I go first, redline it in first, shift into second and about 7K RPM, I see this this roaring and flying pass by me and as you mentioned, BLUE FLAMES coming out of the exhaust; It was pheonomenal and I couldnt believe that.

    So it is true and it's beautiful. :D
