As others have described, it is a simple outpatient procedure.

My doc advised wearing a jock strap for a couple of days. I didn't bother the second day and regretted it.

After you have the procedure let me know and I will send you the

    Vas club membership kit.

at one stage i was offering fchat members the opportunity to not let someone like me procreate by having a charity to get me the snip... i even went as far as to make it a raffle by saying the biggest donor can do the snip themselves! no-one ponied up, so i guess the world is ready for mini-ash....

You used....and I would assume...used clinical procedures deemed safe by the AMA.

I get the feeling that Moralarmor used a .44 and a pair of BBQ tongs.

Not a big deal, but you can get big miles out of it with the wife. Tell her you need to clean the pipes every day for about three to four months. And get at least one week of being a helpless fool on the couch demanding help for the most menial of tasks. Go for it!

Mr. Lamour goes to his local hospital to get a vasectomy. While in a doctors' waiting room, a tall blonde knockout nurse walks in, shuts the door and says "Mr. Lamour, I'm nurse Bubbles. I need to make sure you are 'Dry' before the surgery...If you know what I mean"! Mr. Lamour picks up on that and enjoys a 15 minute blow job!

After that encounter, nurse Bubbles puts Mr. Lamour in a plush wheelchair and pushes him down the hall to the op room. As they pass one room with an open door, Mr. Lamour looks in and sees about 40 guys 'spank'en' it! He looks at nurse Bubbles and says "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THERE!!!!".
Nurse Bubbles looks at him and says " Oh, them.....They all have Kaiser"!

V's increase the chance of male testicular cancer. Tube ties significantly reduce the chance of female ovarian cancer. It's much healthier for your wife to get her tubes tied.

BTW, I have no idea if any of this is true but it worked with me.

    Read: www.dontfixit.org.
After reading the horror stories in there, I guarantee you that you will prefer having one of your arms chopped off than have a vasectomy.
    Seriously.

a friend literally was on his deathbed after he got MRSA during one of these so called "routine, no big deal" vasectomies. the staph infection went into his vitals (which based on where the incision is made is very easy) and he was in the hospital for over a month and a half. and yes, i understand MRSA is everywhere and can happen with any surgery, blah blah blah. but my point is that it's not a necessary surgery and why have surgery unless you have to?

    just my 2c.

You are right. It is completely elective. If one fears it they should def not have it.

I had it done and it was incredibly simple and painless. The next day I was out on an F-car club drive wearing jeans and none-the-worse for wear.

A 40 minute procedure in the morning, the rest of the day in bed watching sport on the TV having wifey run around getting me beers, food and frozen peas and the next day I was right as rain (just a little protective of my crotch). Wifey thought I was a hero. I ended up with a small bruise the size of my little fingernail. No stitches, no pain, no problems.

The Dr that did it for me has this website

    http://www.vasectomy.co.nz/index.html

Interestingly, about 1 in 4 married males in this country have had a vasectomy. Our real estate agent when we bought our current house was just off to have his vasectomy reversed for the second time .... he had the snip, had it reversed and had the snip again and with his current wife decided to have it reversed and try for another child. Despite the fact that a reversal may be possible, you should expect that a vasectomy will permanently sterilise you.
