Wow, thanks for the post Tony Think I'll double double check my insurance before I go to my next trackday
I've met him! He and his wife were on a Owners Club tour of Europe about 3 years ago. Looks like he is in a bit of trouble.
"He pleaded guilty to attempting to obtain goods by deception and was given a 51-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months."
thats a bit harsh considering theives and muggers get away with less what is going on in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My thoughts exactly but then again it is a suspended sentence, provided he's a good boy for the next 18 months he hasn't really suffered as a result of his attempted fraud. He's got his own business - so he's not going to lose his job. The only downside is that he may find he has to ring around a bit more for an insurance quote
I'm glad it's not only me who has these thoughts, saying that, if the Tories were to get in next time I don't suppose there would be a drastic change. That's it - I'm off to New Zealand...
At least when they were caught with their trousers down or hand in the till the conseravtives quit and at best ended up on the back benches, with this lot it doesnt matter if your caught doing something stupid you'll just get brought straight back into the cabinet as soon as the heat dies down! and don't get me started on the amount of tax they've got us paying to support people and projects that are nothing to do with us, whilst schools the police, the armed forces, the NHS and our pensions go down the lavvy
In fairness it took one hell of a lot of sleaze before the Tories shuffled off. For years I felt that John Major had been badly let down - then it turns out he had been giving Edwina a length... rotten to the core (and with poor eyesight) Have you been reading the Daily Mail again?
More of a Telegraph kind of guy .........but even if I read the socialist worker we're still being hosed by blair/brown........
