The XLR-V has aluminum alloy. Is any manufacturer putting carbon fiber wheels on a production vehicle? I thought that was a motorcycle thing.

I think it iwas a downgrade, the Viper is so raw. But for your purposes the XLR may be better suited. Does this one have the new 6 speed auto with steering wheel mounted buttons that is shared in the C6 vette?

That was a concept or engineering exercise. STS, I think.

The XLR-V does have a new 6-speed automatic; however, the steering wheel buttons are for controlling the radio and OnStar.

IMO the viper is much cooler than the XLR. XLR is in same type of Merc SL 500.((IMO Merc is cooler than XLR also)) But there is something different with the Viper its a nice car. Much better than the XLR for me

dunno about the move....two very different cars.#

but i agree that caddy is making some nice stuff these days. i am thinking about getting an srx. does anybody know how difficult it would be to convert and srx into an srx-v? can it be aas easy as strapping on the blower? they all start off as the same engine don't they?

SRT 10, Notice on your CTS-V under the fog lights there is a air dam for to cool the brakes, the same on the STS-V. A XLR front bumper is no different then the XLR-V's however if you look from underneath there is a difference. On the XLR underneath the fog lights its just pure bumber, on the XLR-V there are grates that were placed there to cool the brakes. Just thought you might have not known and would like to know. Yea...
