My commute is all of 800 metres. It takes longer if I walk.
I used to take the el train 5 miles downtown. My new commute will be a 6-block walk past here... Image Unavailable, Please Login
My five-minute, two mile commute is fairly easy and, late at night, kinda fun (which makes me wish it were longer)... Last week, I had to leave the office and go take pictures of a Ferrari - that sort of thing happens on occasion - but I'm usually just in the office soaking up information... It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it...
my commute is absolutly miserable.... 12 miles..... 40 minutes because ppl in orlando can't drive worth a damn..... its actually gotten to the point where I'll be backed up on I4 so badly that I hope there actually is an accident to cause the backup..... ......and then proceed to get pissed like no other because grandma can't take her caddy past 35mph
I've never been to Florida so I can't compare, Boston used to be thw worst, until I visited San Antonio TX for a month - those folks are easily the worst I've ever personally encountered, I avoided the 410 like the plague. It made the dime and the 405 look TAME.
Chris try the lovely 405 next time! Lots of laughs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mine is under 5 kms and 140 kph for the first leg, then 110 kph, then 50-80 kph, then 70kph then 50kph just before I turn into the stealership holding 1st gear wide open banging off the rev limiter near 7,000 rpms at 60kph driving around the building. I'm a popular guy. Most common response "You must have more than one gear ***hole!" or "SHIFT" or "GO SLOWER!" or "YOU'RE FIRED!" P.S. I likey the soundy!
47 miles and 55 minutes each way. But I try to be at work around 530am, so that means waking up around 4am each day. Then I normally stay till around 8-9PM. I love the Marine Corp
From my house to school is one fifteen mile back-road. And one of the best back roads I've ever seen! I'm lucky to see a car on it. After that, about 3/4 mile on a small highway. Joe
Work: 3 miles & 9 traffic lights. I'll be lucky if I hit 60MPH on my route. School: 26 miles on a highway which goes through 5 small towns which all have cops patrolling the highway. If anyone hits 70MPH, they get a$$-raped. I'm among the lucky ones still. ** KNOCKS ON WOOD ** You're extremely lucky Chris!!
Put yourself in a position to get hit by one of them once (Minor injuries, of course). In lui of a big settlement, their husbands would probably be glad to get rid of them. They may be fun for a year!
