i was watching NG in HD last night and they were covering the most extreme shots or something of the like anyway one crazy big balled camera man got within feet of a pack of lions taking down and eating a water buffalo alive, it was intense and really bloody. nothing like haveing a grown lion stare you down with a face full of blood and entrails.
That guy is actually lucky. That pointer is just checking him out. If he were attacking him, he wouldn't be visible until it was too late. They attack from below.
Five days after a woman who swam every morning from her beach-front house in Maui and was attached and killed by a Tiger shark (Per witnesses), I did a second shallow dive in the spot she was killed. With a strong curent, my buddy and I followed the anchor line to 55 feet. At the bottom, my buddy tapped me on the shoulder and pointed south. About 100 feet away was a 15-18 foot Tiger shark, probably the same one that had the swimmer for breakfast. This fish had to have been 4+ feet thick at the belly. We watched it for about a minute and it darted off. It was awesome to see such a huge fish.
