    Not sure where to post this, so I'll post it here. My brother and I will be attending our first grand prix this summer when we go to Indianapolis. We will be checking in Thursday, checking out Monday. I've been to Indy before but I was wondering what everyone would suggest doing for nightlife, places to eat, etc? Also, how many people from the site are going? It'd be pretty cool to have a whole FerrariChat get together somewhere, imo.

    I'm going, it will also be my first GP. I'm flying in either Friday or Saturday, and leaving Monday. I'm definitely interested in a get together.

    You and me both. One of our friends here in TX still foams at the mouth about the money he spent to attend last year's boondoggle.

    That's cool that you guys will get to attend your first GP. Go to the racing section and/or do a search. A lot of people have posted info in the past that you can peruse. I've been there every year but haven't made any of the FChat get-togethers. I go with a bunch of friends and the weekend doesn't really lend itself well to scheduling. Where are you staying?

    Considering last years debacle you might think the attendance would be down, but my wife is a travel agent and always got me into downtown, (Omni or Embassy Suites) at the non F1 rate for Friday only. As of today I'm at the Adams Mark at the airport. I'm sure she will free something up downtown by June but her contacts are saying reservations are up.

    I'm going, last year was my first. Could have been better, OBVIOUSLY, I don't know why everyone has to say that. But I had a fantastic time from Thursday on through Monday. Thursday was so much fun, getting pics on the Brickyard, the pit girls, getting close to the crews and cars.
    I'll be at the S's again for Friday, great up-close slowdowns. I was at the start of the front straight when Ralf crashed, which set the tone for things to come last year. But raceday is section J.
    Just grab some good drinks and at least one quality cigar per day and you can't help but have a blast.
